Yeah just need some reassurance that Pangai's minutes will actually increase this season. I'm expecting them to but we do have a lot of forwards who are actually fit right now.

I'm hoping trials can give us some indication of the minutes spread. I'd be surprised if Gillett started the season playing 80 too.

Does Seibolds previous rotation give us the indicator? Deeper pack at Donkeys may sway it, actually wouldn't look good for the prop but gold for the lock

    2 80 minute edges
    1 lock playing 70
    2 40 minutes props

Nah can't see him following that with the depth they have

Notorious for a slow start mate. Will be in the picture after a five round price drop

His highlights show he is a tackle busting machine, really elusive and great speed. Given opportunity can see him being the next Rapana, has that same kind of never die in the tackle attitude. I think very few will pick him this season, after getting injured last season and burning many coaches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x39Mc19RUqk

I too am a little bit interested.

Rapana has at least 10kg on Katoa. Breaking tackles through speed is different from breaking them through power and size (or in Rapanas case a good mix of both). Katoa will never be the next Rapana simply because he is too small.

I just don't think there is much room in the NRL for a small speedy winger anymore, not since Nathan Merrit retired Razz. Though I do like Thompson at the Tigers as a throwback to when that worked

Brisbane's props should play longer minutes than Tom and George Burgess played last season. Tom and George have never had big tanks, hence the low minutes compared to some other props in the league.

I think our deeper pack will change Seibold's rotations a bit IMO. Like I said, I'd be surprised to see Gillett start the season playing 80 and the other backrower (Su'A/Glenn/Fifita probably won't play 80 either.

As the season draws on the rotation may change but with Haas/Fifita/Glenn likely on the bench I don't see any forward playing 80 to start the season.

Also it wouldn't surprise me if Seibold plays a 4 forward bench with Glenn as the utility. He basically is one anyway.

More detail on this... it's really annoying that "enforcer" players like RCG and JWH get caned in fantasy for missed tackles when they stop an attacker dead in his tracks but fall off at the end only for some cunt like Jake Friend to fall onto him.

All too true, I'm imagining Jake Friend flopping on defenders and its making my giggle

Yeah, don't think you can cut and paste Seibold's tactics from Souths to Broncos. Souths had a lock who was star man and needed to be on the field as much as possible, and two starting props who wete short-burst guys. As well as a totally dufferent hooker. One thing that will remain is more of a commitment to the offload than Bennet, which will be good for TPJ whatever his minutes, and probably for Milf running in broken field as well.

He was very impressive in his trial game last year with the big boys, very busy for a winger. I didn't follow his progress when he returned but will be watching him this year.

He can't be top try scorer if he doesn't see any ball.

All of Johnson's excellent cut-out passes will get intercepted by Dugan

The good news is due to SJ's injury history we already have a sample size of RTS without him.

2018 - 5 games average of 29.4, high score of 50, low score of 14 with 3 scores under 30.

    2017 - 6 games average of 51.3, high score of 68 low score of 35, 4 scores of 50+

TL;DR there is absolutely no trend and I've wasted my time writing this post

Hahahaha. Brilliant. I appreciate the reply. 50/50 whether there's improvement then. I think there's only upside, and he'd still be in half of people's final 17 I'd imagine.
