Priced at about 36 and definitely not going to go below that. Question is whether he can return to 50-55 averages of a few years ago. From memory these were helped by him knocking out 80s every so often, which he hasn't done for a while, but Melbourne prop rotation sans Glasby is light on big-minute players (NAS, Kasiano, Vete, Welch) so JBrom should be main man and certainly shouldn't *lose* any money even he turns out to not improve.

I reckon he needs a lot of tackles to hit those high 50s. Don’t think he’ll do that early season in the heat. Usually needs a decent offensive play like a Try assist to get 60 from memory.

On my list. Surely he can’t play less than 60 minutes a game with their rotation.

I quite like him as a player but I have gone with TPG ,I am hoping Twal gets a gig I can see the Tigers going well under Madge as I see him as the right coach at the right time and expect a big improvement in them.

I had a look at Ofa's stats and couldn't see any value... he seems to be priced right.
TPJ looks similar to me, but at least he breaks tackles like a rampant wookiee

Emerging Origin camp last year and has a big motor. Would often play 80mins at prop in Qld cup. Don’t be fooled though... people are talking about anyone they can get in the frf because other than Marty and Fifi there’s nothing. Everything after those two is a calculated risk so it’s really as simple as picking whatever Bronco wears the 13. Frf by far the hardest spot to fill this year, hence the talk of Ofa, Tolman and others who weren’t jack fantasy wise last season.

McGuire gone equals a big hole to fill in that Donkeys pack, Ofa started season off interchange averaging 34.4 in 43 minutes, from R11 in 13 games he averaged 56 minutes for 49 points.

In games played last year when Ofa came off bench or started and played more than 50 minutes (11 games) he averaged 51

Plenty to like about that and that was with McGuire

Tolman averaged around 47 in all all previous seasons minus last year and that was in some good packs, without Napa and even with him he is going to be the big minute worker

The talk is because of circumstance and fantasy improvement, isn't that why we do this? Trying to find the cheaper guys who can elevate, make money and provide a stepping stones to the guns?

Terepo starting for the eels cause doesn’t bode well for him getting a spot. I thought he gunned it last year

Ofa can average 50 if he gets the minutes. Hard worker, no-nonsense type player. Won't get you many attacking stats but also won't get you many demerits.

Ofa v TPJ is a tough pick for me. I reckon they play similar minutes. Hard worker v attacking stats type player, not an easy call.

Both their averages when playing 50+ minutes is in the 50s

Case for both because I expect both to be playing over that regularly, reckon its going to be a 50/60 minute split in favour of TPJ

I have a bolter that I haven't seen in any other draft teams this year, in Katoa. Picking him to be the top try scorer this season, on Johnson's wing (same as Fusitua last season).

His highlights show he is a tackle busting machine, really elusive and great speed. Given opportunity can see him being the next Rapana, has that same kind of never die in the tackle attitude. I think very few will pick him this season, after getting injured last season and burning many coaches https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x39Mc19RUqk

Yeah just need some reassurance that Pangai's minutes will actually increase this season. I'm expecting them to but we do have a lot of forwards who are actually fit right now.

I'm hoping trials can give us some indication of the minutes spread. I'd be surprised if Gillett started the season playing 80 too.

He's also a poor defender. Not that much of a tackle buster from what I saw in the NYC, just a speedster. Definitely not as a strong a ball runner as Rapana IMO also

Did you watch the youtube video? Its a highlight reel of him breaking 3 to 5 tackles in many sequences of play.
