Fun fact: I had never seen a black cockatoo until about 3 weeks ago when I went camping in the Ottways with some friends. Had no idea what it was.

Is it bad that I first assumed this was a lewd joke? Embarassed

Nah just the colour. If I had seen it close enough I might've seen it looked like a cockatoo.

    Any cyclists in the house?

I had a shitty commuter up until a month or two back when it got nicked.
I ride once maybe twice a fortnight, with the occasional day-trip with friends (60km ride was the last one).

I rode a friends 3-speed internally geared bike the other day and it was a dream. I want one.
3 speed seems too few though. I pretty much only rode it on flat/slight incline.

Looking for a pretty cheap bike, cautious about secondhand internal gears... am I better not to get one? Better going brand new and forking out a bit more for a good bike or throw $100-200 at a secondhand job and see what happens?

Lost a carton bet on the weekend, so I ordered it online via Dan Murphys for delivery.

Got an email this morning saying it was delivered, tracking link confirms that. Mate reports that no one showed up and he checked everywhere and can't find it (mate lives in a unit block).

Spent next hour or so making phone calls to Dans who've chased up with teh driver, etc. Some bloke "Shaun" has signed for it. Mate doesn't know a Shaun. Further chasing up with driver. "was left with Shaun at reception". So i call the building he lives in and they confirm taht someone named Shaun does in fact work there.

So two hours later and numerous phone calls made, the beer was there the whole fuckin time and my mate just didn't check with reception to see if they'd taken a delivery. Fkn hell.

When I lose a carton bet to a mate I deliver it in person, cold and with the first one missing.

When I lose a carton bet, I chase my losses until, as a minimum, the number of cartons owed reaches double figures

Got an email from a bloke named Geoff Gerrard, which got us talking at work about the great Geoff Gerard.

At the end we felt nothing but sorrow for the bloke. Premierships side stepped him like zip zip himself.

    Playing record:

    Years Team
    1974–80 Parramatta Eels - Won premiership 81-83
    1981–84 Manly-Warringah - Won premiership 87
    1985–89 Penrith Panthers - Won premiership 91

Did you know that his sister, Gemma, has trouble introducing herself in France?

Can you still be friends with someone if they lie to you?

One week they tell you 1 thing, the next week another?

Pretty much everyone lies at some point (or if their story changes from 1 week to the next its possible they've just changed their mind/point if view)

Obviously some lies are worse than others, so its up to you Finchy how much it means to you.

Wayne Bennett about James Roberts ???

I forget I'm doing stuff and double book then have to go back and tell people that actually I can't come I already had something on. Which could sound like complete bullshit, but it's true.
