I have 5 out so far Ponga, Hopgood, Moses, Burbo and Bird so can only field 16 pre trades, 15 if Haas doesn’t back up.

Looking at

I Kat to Olopau

Then can hold Bird take a hit this week and get Penisini next week and go Burbo to Turpin?

Or can go Bird to Turpin leaving 600k spare and plan AJ to Penisini and Burbo to Samuela Fainu next week?

Round 16 mids also an issue can wait and do Tatola to Klemmer closer to round 16.

Or consider Haas out to Klemmer over this period but that might be silly?

I don't see any reason to hold both Bird and Burbo this week and take the hit playing a man down.

Can you not just do Burbo to Turpin this week?

Yeah man get rid of those two for guys that are least playing the Round 16 bye for you

You ended up with Ponga in the end too

Lock Katoa > Oloapu for the cash grab, can't see Katoa scoring well with Milf stealing all the KM's.

Your centres are set with Manu and Lemmy so think you can afford to cut Bird.

I think you'd be better grabbing Liddle over Turpin. You'd then have Robson for RD16 and Liddle for RD19.

You wouldn't be able to play Robson and Turpin RD16 and I'd be more confident in Liddle's scoring ability as long as he can stay fit.

Scored 805 last round C Cleary what a disaster. Rank down from 418 to 469.

I was keen on Turpin but I mean I already have 3 hookers.

Personally, I'd go with DEdwards over Penisini and move Manu to centre. Just not a fan of buying a centre who plays centre for that much. Certainly not the worst move though and the other trades look solid. Can probably target something like Tatola to Matto next week with all that bank?

Would give me 4 Parra guys if I get Matto would be the concern plus his injuries he’s at high risk to re injure it first 2 weeks back based on what NRL physio has said on calf injuries before

I agree with Mr. Brown moving Manu to centre and then getting Edwards mate. Can see a slight uptick with an increased role with no Cleary.

Then if you don't have Penisini you can afford to get Matto as you will only have the 3 Parra players

Centre cover is so overrated, it's the reason I held Talau for the first 12 rounds for a net loss of $20k haha, as I said in the main thread you have enough trades in the bank to trade in a centre if you ever need one. Manu and Lemmy both have good job security so only an injury to either is going to mean you require a trade.

Either way it's a fair bit of cash to be sitting in your emergencies not contributing to R16 and also sitting in EMG at full strength. Would you consider trading to someone like Simmonson/NAS for an extra bye number?

Been a couple of weeks since I updated this life has been busy….. and I’ve been watching so much of the Ashes…..

So over the last 3 weeks my rank has dropped from 344 to 693 overall. 962 I got last week which was 40-50 under par for the top 1k.

Quite like your plan here tbh mate. You have a strong RD19 team, and a huge warchest to target the guns post Origin.

I wouldn't be worrying too much about getting Cleary. Matterson and Lemmy to Cleary and a cash out is done in 2 trades.

I personally have had Kris pencilled in for a few weeks but think I might grab Avo instead. This could change come Thursday.

Would then need to cash out Liddle to Piakura next week to fund the other upgrades.

I quite like where you're going with that, maybe a couple of POD picks like Ronaldo and Murray will help you make a push for the top 100. You'd expect Ronaldo to score well this week. I don't think you're missing out be avoiding Kris as long as you still have an easy route to Cleary which you will via Matto and Lemuelu.

Have considered getting Fifita or Grant but maybe should wait a week? Fifita carrying back stiffness and bit of a hip issue might play a bit lesser mins like Grant?

If Brimson is a late out I’d be down to 16 probs domt wanna use all bank to go Brimmo to Cleary as then not much money for moves next week. Would then have to consider JDB to Yeo to field 17 this week unless I went Boyd (do not really wanna sell him) to Fifita if Fifita does play.

If SJ is a late out I’d trade him and get DCE or Cleary.

Can anyone simplify this any suggestions please? I haven’t felt panicked at all in the last 6 weeks but in a bit of a head spin this week.

Ideally I will want Fifita, Grant, Cleary and maybe one of DCE or Murray but mightn’t be possible.
