I see 4 storm players who are all on bye next week. Unless you see EKatoa as a season keeper I think he goes this week so you can still trade next week flexibly.

Carty and Katoa -> Manu and Tedesco or maybe JDB/Crossland. Alamoti may have no use as a 4th ctr so could go to Host for cash and a rd 13 player. Basically think one storm player should go this week.

I scored 892 for round 9 rank in from 713 to 707. Boyd continues to go well, JDB went very well, Lemu on fire 93 and Manu 64. Miller and Cheese out this week is a bit annoying.


Wondering whether I need a good third half to cover SJ bye in round 12 and have a better round 13 half than I. Katoa? Could trade a Preston or Hosking out or wait closer to round 13. Not sure I wanna trade in Moses at over 800k, D. Brown looks like good value and is tempting. Another option is get Horse.

One trade locked in this week will be Alamoti to Bula leaving me 368k spare……

Thinking I might wait on Tatola now given the sad news his Dad passed away who knows if he plays now BE is 48 as well.

Defs going Alamoti to Bula.

Need to decide whether a Preston or Hosking to a Dylbags is worth it or whether I hold fire and bank a couple of trades. Have 20 trades left and 368k spare after bringing Bula in.

Would like to look at Couchman to Tatola probs next week and need to get Robson soon too so I don’t wanna blow all my bank I need to be smart with it.

In the back of my head I know a lot can happen between now and round 13 as well.

Round 10 trade I did was Alamoti to Bula. I had a great round scoring 1017 and rank went up from 707 to 312 overall. Only think I’ve even been this high once before. Boyd was great keeps kicking on along with JDB, Murray is a big concern as is Ford. Hosting and Preston brained it again, C Cleary didn’t let me down SJ keeps going great.

Soni Luke is another of concern just the 18mins last week scoring only 9 points and his BE is 34 this week. I just have 7 guys only for round 13 too. I’m defs making 2 trades this week maybe 3. I have 368k spare and would only bring in guys for round 13.

On Tatola, Ta’affe could play some 14 to give Trell an early shower too and Havili back round 15 could relieve Cook some mins or they might carry Mamozelos some games too.

He probs gets 40-45 next two weeks then more round 13 he’s dropped 190k too Tatola.

Tatola avg 48.5 mins through rounds 13-20 last year too should avg about 42ish through this period?

I can wait a week but Tatola has bottomed out I think and Soni losing money.

I don’t trust Sele to stay fit all through origin either.

If I triple trade I’ll be down to 17 though.

Non round 13 guys I will have are Bula, Cheese, Couchman, Teddy, Manu, Cleary, Hosking, Preston, Haas, Boyd…….. if I have to sell one of those would you say potentially Teddy out round 13 if he doesn’t pick up next two weeks? I’d have to sell two of those guys I named to field 13 in round 13

Looks like three trades for 3 upgrades mate, can't really ask for much more than that. I personally prefer Tohu to Horse, but you can't go wrong either way, especially with Tohu on a bye next week.

On your other question, I'm personally planning to sell Teddy if he doesn't pick things up pretty quickly, and I'd say Couch is a fairly easy sell if a viable cheapie pops up. I think you left out Loiero from that list who I will also plan to sell, should have more or less peaked by R13.

Think I might hold off on trading Soni not convinced on either of Tatola or Luki. Soni could lose another 20k but I think I rather save the trade I have 282k spare anyway.

Thinking Hopgood in for Muzza and Horse in for Ford. Leaves me with 18 trades left. Will have to play both Bula and AJ but lost will be light on for their last two bench spots I think.

If Luki or Tatola look better I can always get one of them next week. My team value is 13.3 mil.

Round 11 I scored an 894 not great rank down from 312 to 627. Boyd had a lower game of 42, Hosking and Teddy flopped, Manu injured, Miller not a good score, AJ 24 underwhelming, I had lots of 40’s scorers and no Luki or Hynes hurt me. Haas went great as usual C Cleary too, De Belin keeps the big scores going, as did SJ and Bird, Hopgood I brought back in got a 63.

That looks pretty bloody good to me Rabs. I wouldn’t even bother with a shitto centre in 16 or winger in 19. Better to set yourself up strongly coming out of the byes imo

So I have 11 players….


Thinking Miller out for Drinky. Then I can potentially go Cheese or Boyd to Moses and play Moses over I. Kat. If I want an edge would have to sell Loiero or Cheese/Boyd to Carty or buy back Ford? If I get Carty though and Moses along with owning Hopgood and Burbo I just have 11 still this week.

If I try to get a 12th player any advice please on potential options?

Ponga instead of Drinky saves you $139k and still plays RD13 and RD16, neither are keepers so will need an upgrade later down the line.

You'd think Ponga at least misses Game 2 if QLD win.

Hey mate Ponga not sure I can he’s still could be in the frame for origin 2 and I might need to waste another trade on him soon. And of course the HIA risk.

Woukd also give me 4 Parra, Knights and Manly guys and they all have byes next week.

Only other players I’d look at are Te Whare (if starting), Garrick, Ponga and Drinkwater

Miller, Burbo and Cheese out for Te Whare + 2 means you can move Bird to EDG and fill out your rd 13 team. Leaves you very heavy at WFB but with all three WFB I suggested having a bye pre rd 16 maybe that works okay?

Not sure I’d trade just to get 13 but it’s an option. Good luck this week!
