    He was 86, suffering from dementia, died suddenly last Wednesday night (10th) after a pretty serious fall (fractured 16 ribs and concussed).
    I'm OK as I've spent the last year and a half taking care of his affairs etc. and each time I've seen him I've made the our goodbye was what I'd want my last words to be.

    He lived large - too many stories that I won't commit to a public forum, but he was a bit of a lad in his time.
    I did his eulogy, so it was nice to send him off in a good way.

    Sorry to hear mate.

    Sounds like youve handled it well.

    Share one of those stories if you feel like it!

    Seems like something that probably wasnt embarassing at all.

    Also very embarassing for the broncos having to ask flegler and herbie to play for them tonight, despite having been allowed to sign for another club next season. Holy moley

    Imagine the embarrassment of asking a player to play for you who you are paying over $10k a week to play for you...

    What are the odds Yeo backs up from game 1 of origin, G1 is 31/05 and Panths play Dragons 04/06

    Three things.

    The pies, the effort, the accent.

    He didn't back up at all last year. But Penrith were miles clear at the top of the table.

    So maybe he'll play this year, but wouldn't rely on it

    Did he get concussed last year or did that happen in my imagination?

    Edit : Looked it up and he did get concussed but they let him play on for a fair while before subbing him out.

    Are downvotes for posts like this really necessary? It's a bit mean people.

    Young or Hopgood?

    and would you rather Trade A or B?

    Trade A: (leaves 5k ITB)
    Hosking -> Young/Hopgood
    AKP -> Luki
    Stone -> BTurbo

    Trade B: (leaves 195k ITB but no way to get Young/Hopgood next week without sacrificing 2 trades trading out a gun and back)
    Hosking -> Luki
    AKP -> Edwards

    #18 Francis Molo now starting lock for Dragons (replacing Michael Molo, I think?)
    JWH out for Easts, Lodge to start and Nathan Brown onto the bench.

    Knew I’d forgot someone Host will be with Cheeks second row.

    Tatola avg 49mins during last year origin period should be similar this year he’s priced 70k cheaper than Luki probs better value both should avg low 40’s over this period.

    I think I’ve talked myself into Tatola.

    Combo of his conditioning when he came over, his form over past couple of seasons and him pulling up in the warm-up a couple of weeks ago provides a load of warning flags. Not to Tim Sheen's though.

    Also, with iPap possibly being the top non-Origin edge in the game, it would be difficult to run two players from the same club in the same position.
