I'm OK as I've spent the last year and a half taking care of his affairs etc. and each time I've seen him I've made the our goodbye was what I'd want my last words to be.

He lived large - too many stories that I won't commit to a public forum, but he was a bit of a lad in his time.
I did his eulogy, so it was nice to send him off in a good way.

Hope you are okay mate! Sounds like he lived a good one brother! Legend

    Who's everyone captaining this week?

I've got it on Hynes, but really stuck between him and Cleary (with Haas and Fifita as smokey options)

Im just saying, I wouldnt be buying him sight unseen. Whatever a different coach did with him is irrelevant tbh. 45 to 50 ish mins doesnt make him worthwhile for a couple of byes unless youve got a heap of trades available imo, and that isnt 'low mins' for an established NRL prop.

Anyway GL if you grab him straight away, will be a good buy if that sort of scenario panned out

What I like to do, is only have one good player, that way i dont have to think about it.

    T. Burgess back spasms in some doubt for next week too. JD said won’t rush him if not right if Tom is out along with the other 3 plus Murray and Arrow our pack next week is..

Have a look at the minutes they are giving to established players:
    RCG 58 minutes
    Paulo 55
    Hopgood 64
    Matto ~60

With Paulo and RCG out, they will be giving him big minutes over the Origin period.

This is a guy that averaged 54 in 63 minutes last season, and they clearly recognise that he is being under utilised at Tigers, so are giving him an opportunity to step up.

RCG minutes is very wishful thinking I'd say. Unless Matto goes to 80mins edge and then I could see it if Ofa plays well.

Who knows what Arthur is thinking but you'd want to see him get the minutes for a couple weeks before jumping on.

"The Wests Tigers have been left red-faced after informing key forward Joe Ofahengaue he can join a rival club, only to then ask him to stay and play one more game.

The embarrassing contract twist has emerged after it was revealed on Thursday that the 2022 Wests Tigers Player of The Year was poised to sign a Two-and-a-half year contract with Parramatta, effective immediately."

Might get Tatola over H Edwards. Round 13 number and probably has the more stable position and scoring. I know Rabbits has been saying it. Thoughts on this?

Ofa has a be of 48 and a career average of 49 in games over 50 minutes. I really don’t see the rush unless you’re that short for next week you need to bring in 4 then plus another this week

I don't think anyone is bringing him in, it's more of a threat to the Eels pack and who's spot/minutes he'll be taking

I'm thinking he will (if he actually lines up at edge)

Those NSW cup stats being thrown about were from 2021 when he was 19.

There is pretty much SFA relevant data to make a judgement on so it's a gut call (and a pretty low stakes one at that) I'm going based on his game last week where he was pretty involved in his time on the field.

He is a base priced starter filling in for an injury (Think VTF who people were mad for except it's not a one week injury) who could be useful over the byes.

If you have 13 trades left it's not a great idea, if you have around 20 then it's not as big a deal.

Manly will be happy, they will have two good Turbos again.

Quite probable Burbs only plays 60 with the bench, but I really liked his involvement in the pre-season and last week.

Seems like something that probably wasnt embarassing at all.

Also very embarassing for the broncos having to ask flegler and herbie to play for them tonight, despite having been allowed to sign for another club next season. Holy moley

All going to plan, he will be my 3rd mid for round 13, why I wouldn't want to wait a week. Would be very surprised if he isn't named as starting prop in round 13. Can reevaluate then if he isn't. Gets me a player for all 3 major byes, and if he has the upside I am expecting he gets a lot of points and cash in that time. Probably even drops a bit of cash this week playing limited minutes first.

    I thought about it...

But, Hynes ...indigenous round vs the Knights, he had 50+ at half-time last week.

    Capt Hynes locked in.

Cleary will still score great tonight, but happy to give it to Hynes.
