What odds are people giving that Cleary is a late withdrawl this week?

I want to captain someone from the Thursday game, just to maximise tinkering ability on Friday. Should I captain someone like Haas just in case Cleary goes down in the warmup, or just let it roll on Hopgood (who'd probably be an acceptable VC choice anyway)

Yeah I've delved deeper into his centre scoring and it's not pretty. I'd be happy switching HSS into the 17, but not history of scoring at centre makes it harder.

No option for a R1 loop and don't really want to change the whole team around to accommodate a better centre... Ah the joys of fantasy

My plan for Talau is that he gets a few 30+ in the opening 5 weeks and that he can be upgraded ASAP to someone half decent.

He can get his single digit scores after his bye once we've all traded him out

The Tigers first 3 rounds aren't bad - Titans, Newcastle, Dogs. That's as good as it gets for the reigning wooden spooners

Also, I have no plans to actually play him in my 17 unless injury forces it, or he's getting looped in.

Unless you've heard something specific, the odds of Cleary withdrawing before the game are very long. And approximately the same odds as Haas withdrawing before the game.

Think you're seeing unnecessary shadows here leading to a -EV play, but if you have to do this makes more sense to go Hopgood or if you have him Grant

I have HSS currently just feel he’s got some better pedigree to score a bit better but the DPP may sway me back to Talau especially with the Tigers having a reasonable first game or 2. I am going cheap at centre I. Thompson locked in I’m sticking by him.

Alamoti & HSS locked into the 13

Yep and Raiders have Dolphins round 2 and Knights round 3 so could be potential to score well.

I’ve got my 5 cheapies Warbrick, Alamoti, HSS, Doorey and Blore then a few guys a tick over the 300k mark in TMM, Thompson and Ford as most have. If they flop say 2-3 of them then Sloan, BMM, Preston and Katoa if he goes well at the Dolphins could be options etc……

I’m staying fully away from AKP domt like his base.
