    Round 14 Team

    JMK
    Carrigan, Horse, Tohu
    Loiero, Preston
    Cleary, Hynes
    Manu, Lemmy
    Teddy, Bula, Perham

    SJ, Boyd, Turpin, Hopgood
    Sele, Niko, Oloapu, Ponga

With Bird out and Manu/Lemmy at CTR I’ve opted to cash Bird down to Turpin to put some money in the bank for the next couple of rounds. 14 trades remaining and 458k in the bank.

With Cleary, Hynes, Carrigan and Teddy hopefully being able to backup should have a pretty decent team on the park.

Obviously that money can be put to good use this week. But feel like next weeks targets could be more beneficial

Bird being out has changed things so updated my tracker 👍

Trades at the moment are looking like

    Bird > Turpin
    Sele > IPap
    Niko > Meaney

Don’t mind the punt on Meaney as a cheaper option to DEdwards. Hopefully the Storm hit a bit of form over the next month and Meaneys goal kicking gives him a boost

Can you still afford Edwards over Meaney? I think there's a good chance Edwards is a season keeper whereas I highly doubt Meaney is and will probably need trading out further down the line.

I’m not to sure I want to pay 700k+ for a WFB no matter how well they are going. Ive had a look at ways to get him in but just not liking any of the combos.

Will probably just get JFH at this stage haha

    Round 15 Team.

    14 trades
    223k in the bank

    Boyd
    Carrigan, Horse, Tohu
    Hopgood, Preston
    Hynes, SJ
    Lemmy, Bird*
    Teddy, Bula, Ponga

    Manu, Loiero, JFH, Cleary
    Niko, Sele, Perham, Oloapu

Life without Cleary, how will we ever move forward without our captain fantastic. Who will the ghost points go to now? Maybe that’s the secret to doing well until he returns.

Feel like I’m doing pretty well team wise this week due to not having any Cowboys players (to my detriment the last few weeks) and neither of some of the other outs like JDB, Fifita.
Can always go with a no trade week, at the moment I have 9 for next week and will look to move on Cleary, Sele and Niko next week when the origin period is clearer.

Perham is a slight worry as he seems to be on a Miller like slide and set to lose 40-50k if I keep him for the next two rounds purely for a Round 16 number and then move him on.

Upgrades seem slim at the moment so best to maybe just sit and see what happens?
Let me know what you think 🤔

Is that 14 trades before you get the extra 8 in round 20?

If so, I wouldn't be afraid to make a few moves. Get Cleary out for anyone and you should have enough room to get him back in again later.

iPap.Bateman good shouts (but superfluous to R16 with Preston+Loiero already there)
Cook, Dylan Edwards, Moses all guys you might want to consider.

Even someone like Harry Grant. His only remaining bye is a game he'll miss anyway through origin, so assuming he backs up he's got a lot of games in him

Oh yeah 14 before the 8 comes in, so 22 all up which feels like an absolute truckload.

Have been pretty keen on Ipap and Bateman but with 2 bye EDGs already I’m a bit hesitant to leave one on the bench doing nothing next week. I’m hoping I don’t lose too much points by waiting.

Moses definitely keen on for obvious reasons. Didn’t realise that about Harry Grant, that bye being on a game off anyway is tempting indeed, perhaps if he went back to his past scoring that would be nice too 😜.

Have thought about Cleary/Perham to Moses/Edwards but then I’m left with leaving someone out of the 17 this week which is probably a bad way to use the funds.

If Grant could just drop a bit more cash, and then go back to his high scoring once I've traded him in, that would be ideal.

My whole final team strategy involves Grant, Haas, Fifita, Hynes, Cleary all dropping cash over origin so I can buy/rebuy them cheap

Fifita and Cleary have a nice low score in their BE calcs now, just need the others to stay quiet for a bit too.

If Bird doesn't play you'll be using both Moses and Edwards this week.

Even if Bird does suit up, better depth is better than no depth.
but also noted you don't have a R16 hooker. Worth getting Robson/Turpin for a decent score?

Perham to Turpin gives you a cash injection, a better R16 team, and you have the trades to ditch Turpin again when he is no longer useful

Yeah I’ve been looking at that option. If he’s going to make 50 tackles a game then happy days haha.
Can then go all out with my trades next week. Cleary, Sele, Niko and perhaps one more out for 4 bye round numbers and then cruise again for a bit.

Rough trades for the next couple of weeks.

    Round 16:
    Bird > Simpkin
    Cleary > Moses
    Sele > Elliot
    Niko > Penisini

Gives me 12 for Round 16 and this team for 17:

    Boyd
    Carrigan, Horse, Tohu
    Hopgood, Preston
    Hynes, Moses
    Lemmy, Penisini
    Teddy, Ponga, Bula

    SJ, Manu, Elliot, JFH
    Bird, Loiero, Turpin, Oloapu.

Feels a bit lopsided but then can build towards 19 and the run home

Cheers man it’s been one hell of a climb from the depths of fantasy mediocrity 🤣 but hopefully I can avoid any disasters and keep pushing on through this bye period.

With Simpkin likely coming in next week as my Round 16 hooker I may need to look at what is happening with my team in Round 17 with the Tigers, Sharks and Bulldogs on the bye.

Will be without Preston, Hynes, Bula, Simpkin, Perham and Oloapu.

Perham and Oloapu can easily make way that week, would be nice if Oloapu could knock out a couple of 40s to at least get to the 100k mark and Perham could just hold his price with the same numbers.

That would leave me with the 4 guys on the bye and hope that Carrigan and Teddy back up for me to save a trade. Oh and no injuries

    Food for thought anyway

Gives me 16 if Teddy and Carrigan back up. So there may need to be a sacrificial lamb or two heading into that round if it things go a bit pear shaped. Have 10 trades so feel like I can deal with it.

    Round 17

    Turpin
    Carrigan, Horse, Tohu
    Hopgood, Loiero
    SJ, Ponga
    Lemmy, Simmo
