Turns out I totally fucked the numbers on the previous page which kinda works out because Hopgood has added his name into possible trades 

Trade out options: (95k ITB)
Trindall 392k - definite out 
Hopgood 730k
Carty 527k 
HSS 273k

Trade in options:
Hosking 607k
WFB gun - Kiraz 693k or Manu 672k
Cheapie (AKP 304k, Sele 298k, KNiko 254k)

Initial thoughts before TLT were Carty + Trindall to Hosking/Kiraz + AKP + Sele
Now potentially considering Hopgood + Trindall to same players but free up money for HSS to Teddy in just about 1 trade (currently 37k short with AKP)

More or less the same trades as me (trading HSS instead of Trindall who I never owned is the only difference) so I guess I have to say it looks solid! Glad I'm not the only one considering Carty for Hosking. Hopgood to McInness is firmly on the menu for next week too.

Any interest in Frizell over Hosking? Only about 30k more and is a known quantity. Should be good for a mid 50s average with the occasional boom game with some tries.

My trade decision this week is Carty > Hosking/Frizell and I'm really not sure which one to go with.

Yeah it’s interesting one, if you asked last week would have said Frizell but feel like Hosking may have done enough to keep spot now 

Burton is probably my alternative I’m looking at. Knights do have 2 byes coming up shortly (including tough R14)

The byes are probably enough to sway me into the punt. Thinking I'll go Carty > Hosking and if it doesn't pan out and Hosking gets dropped I'll just grab Frizell.

Cons: WFB roulette died a quick death with Warbrick 12 and Sloan 8 while all guns except Turbo went big. EMG not ideal currently

You're a much higher rank than I am so you'd know better, but what's your expectation of McInnes?

Has a big BE so would probably take 2 weeks before he actually makes money, then Finucane is back the week after and his assumed minutes increased then goes back down? Could be two trades for not much benefit

In saying that, he is on the watchlist, but not this week for me at least until we see how the minutes are split around. Sharks also have a 4 forward bench

Yeah he was probably more of a trade in for me before Carty Party continued rolling on as a straight swap

Currently the cheapie I pick will be my 17th man (and can afford up to 512k with HSS out). Considered Warbrick out instead of HSS however need to save money for Tapine back in for Loiero

Looking at this I may not be able to do Walsh and have a good 17th man while also getting Tapine back without ditching Carty, is ditching Carty in a couple of weeks worth Walsh over CNK

Basically comes down to this week - Couchman/Royce Hunt + Walsh vs CNK + BSmith. Both players are in 17 (IKatoa other option in 1st option)

If Carty keeps pumping out 45 to 50s then he's the least of concerns imo

Don't forget Murray will probably be a trade out for R13, so he could a Tapine ticket. Haas has two byes on Origin rounds, so he's probably a season hold

I like Couchman as the cheapie, he's who I have pencilled in atm

Murray to Tohu in R13 is highly likely for me

Yeah Tohu/Matto/Tapine the options there

Ford and Couchman also play R13 so they can slot there too

I’m loath to comment being a cheese owner but I really do think his scores will improve and CNK is a bargain

Not much to fault with your planning. Cheese does give you coverage for Rd 15 and no Turpin is promising, although I’m not sold on him as a buy. His price point is just annoying. Would rather go cheaper or gun.

I probably prefer Hunt over McInnes but that’s not based on much, more just similar roles and going with the cheaper option.
Nothing wrong with CNK, I looked strongly at him for Origin coverage.

Pros: Learning how to loop using 2 playing CTR gained me 12 points, finally got on the Walsh bandwagon
Cons: Robson awful game, potentially could have waited on Teddy

I'd personally go all out and pick option 2. I see the Manu and Host combo likely exceeding those they're replacing by a comfortable amount. Unless you have some affinity towards TPJ I don't see him screaming 'must buy', whereas if Manu pops off (as everyone is expecting I guess) R14 might be too late.

The other side of the coin is if Carty is named to start. Would you just hold trades? If Carty is the only one you actually want to get rid of in a hurry then I can see why option 1 would be a go.  Clear as mud

I like option 1 personally. If you could just do Carty to Manu I'd say just do that, but I'm not convinced Alamoti to Host is worth the extra trade (been considering the same).
