Why I love this forum, sometimes you just need the push or the reality nudge to help you make sound decisions

Silly to be dumping a potential big money maker in Milf and a semi gun with potential for Cleary who is going well overs on his previous average early season

    Cheers boys

I am in the same boat mate, just have to trust his track record and wait
As long as he isn't injured then he should go well, still high up on the Roosters pecking order if not the top

Nah no trades needed, Croker is close if something pops up like Suaalii but would hold tight another week

Yeah going to stick on that 56 average playing 60+ minutes which he looks set to do with his GK as a leveller and put it down to slight score slump, he had an uncanny amount of MTs and Error last game probably sent me wobbling.

Leniu could still make cash, but it really simplifies the next month... without 3+ week injuries, I am not touching this team for four weeks other than getting a better base cow (Blore etc) in for Simonsson when one turns up and maybe single-trading Hetho to the best centre I can find when he peaks. It's a weak spot but don't mind running with Hampton until then if he's starting half, and Niu fine for cover.

    JBrailey
    Tino Watson Angus
    Difita Riki
    Cleary Moses
    Roberts Hampton
    Ted Laurie Pap
    Turpin Schuster Liddle Kamikamica
    SWalker Hetherington Niu Simo +30k

Gees it looks kick ass with Moses in it. Don't mind it. Discounted rd 13 gun and a definite large points bump for your scoring 17. Leniu not quite getting the role people wanted, at least not yet. He will make some more cash, but so will Moses frankly. I'd probably do it. My trade out is Croker and I can't do it in one trade, so I think I'll wait a week or so.

On holidays, sitting outside on the balcony and rather nice and cool and quiet with it raining, talking fantasy on here and drinking a glass or four of red. And now just noticed the time on the lappy is out and it's an hour earlier than I though it was. Almost like finding $20 in your pants or coat that you didn't realise you had. Trophy

We are all just living in MS’ world, but here is the alternate reality...

    Pre Season

Get excited, build 613 drafts, shifting players in based on trial highlights.
Lock in the fastest guy at Nines.
Have grand plans around stashing in 18-21 your favourite talent for this season regardless of team lists, instead buying him in round 4, when 80k more expensive.
Use bye planner and ensure you have all the best brits and Kiwis and have a core of R13 players.
Tinker with about 40 different middies that are at least 10pts under priced but then write posts to ask others how many >750k mega guns they have, adjusting your team until you win.
Review first team lists set and drop more than half your squad and ensure you have people like Simonsson and Averillo.
Get rid of your favourite stash player.
Drop the fast guy from nines before he is named in round 2 or 3.
Throw out the window any bye plans, getting all the FOMO origin stars, as you can deal with all that later.
Panic buy and captain someone in the first match of the season because you’ve had 4 tins.

    Pre-Origin

Max trade for 8-10 weeks convincing self that fixing your team early is key.
Drop any and all players you actually didn’t like much, irrationally at the first sub 60 score.
Drop that guy you got in for the first match
    Cycle through 11 different centres
Get that guy you dropped back after he scores 75, because others were right, and what’s one trade.
Freak out closer to origin that you’ve used too many trades
    Drop your origin season keepers
Enter R13 with the bare 13, one of them under an injury cloud

    Post Origin

Get back your origin keepers ASAP, having 3 less of them than you started with.
Run out of trades missing 4-5 must haves and being left with Havili in your best 17.
Fade the last 5 weeks to injuries and suspensions
Start building your FPL squad and focus on your NFL dynasty team
Stop reading the forum because people still have trades left and are discussing BEs
Field 14 players in the final 2 weeks

Disclaimer: While fun early, following this advice causes much late distress, but you already know this, because over 80% of the above is how you already play

I'm locked in with Liddle. His good scores come with tries but with how the Cowboys have been playing, I could see him really carving them up through the middle.

Walker or Schuster is a tough one for me. I'm leaning towards Schuster because his 39 pretty much came with no attacking stats beside one offload so that looks to be his floor. Against a depleted Warriors side he might be able to rack some up.
He's the gift that keeps giving. Still has a low BE and playing cows. He'll still get subbed via MCK and Mbye. I think he has around $60k still in him

I'm thinking Blake Green could be one to watch. Will have bulk KM's and safe for 10 weeks and plays 13. Could make some decent coin. BE of 54 so will have a good look at him.
