I'd be happy to join that big furry fella(?) there again this year.

L51 should only be accessible to those who know how to post a GIF on page 51...

That would have ruled @SI out last year, but he seems to have up skilled this season thanks to Sanjay and Ramesh

Yeah man I'm a huge fan of JTurbo and I think he will have another big year so it would be he or Brown as captain. Still think Brown will be pumping out 70 mins each week so he will still be racking up the points consistently I would say. Rest of the team look decent though? Obviously would be trying to Smith and Teddy in there before too long but I think it looks ok

In games he didn't score a try, Jake averaged 47.8. He scored 9 tries last year which seriously puts me off him. I don't think he'll average less than 50 this year but I seriously doubt he'll match the 55 he averaged last year. He's not someone the best teams will have in their team come the end of the season

Any got an opinion about these two options

    1/ Twal and Brown
    2/ Evans and Mannering

Mannering or Brown would be the captain in each permutation

Gee tough one, Tigers spots and minutes all up for grabs and Warriors to some extent too with Mannering potentially to an edge. Trials may help. I like Evans to finally do something and push for a starting spot more than Twal but like Brown better than Mannering this year. In short NFI.

This is the make up of my team atm

2 top shelf guns: CS9 & Teddy  (Captain and Vice-Captain)
3 Guns on sale: GI, Thurston, Harris
3 Potential guns: Ponga, Murray & maybe Arrow
    7 mid-rangers
    6 cashcows under 300k

I was going to try and fit another top-shelf gun in, but struggled to get a good 17 when I did

Curious to hear who your 6 cash cows are under 300k. I am struggling to find much value at this price?

Good answer. I could be talked into it. Currently have GI but could really use the 55k and if I have to choose between two superstar fullbacks, both playing in the centres, might as well go with the cheaper one with dpp. Hmmmm.

Agree with this quote. Seeing lots of references to “trap”. Someone like Peta Hiku simply can’t be called a trap. He is sub 300k when there is absolute dross at the price bracket and he has some history of posting ok scores. He’s just cheap and hopefully is what it says on the tin.

It’s all about expectations... Traps should probably be a term limited to tempting mid-rangers who are priced nicely but actually have no real high scoring history or former guns who are just not guns anymore, irrespective of price (Hayne?)

Fair enough. How's you're guns and cows thing going this year?
