My trades for this week will likely be
Hosking to Curran (strengthen the EDG and MID)
Tups to DBrown (strengthen the HLF)

    planned trade next week:
Murray to Hynes, will be about 60k short so will look at
Rapana to Campbell or one of the dud cows to Talagi or Iro?

    other options:
    Lussick to JBrailey
    Rapana to Gutho

    Round 5 results:
    score: 759
    OR: 1048

I ended up getting Curran & DBrown as per the post above

    Lussick
    Carrigan (c), Murray, May
    KPP, Curran
    Fogarty, DBrown
    Kiraz, Kris
    Turbo, Papy, Rapana

    BSMith, Salmon, Galvin, Chan
    Strange, Hughes, Burbo, Levi

Decided to play Strange over Levi, which paid off
Happy with the balance of the team at the moment, slowly working towards getting a solid bench

Plan for this week was Rapana to Campbell, and Murray to Hynes, but I'm 4k short Sad
Still want to go Murray to Hynes, but will need to work out another secondary trade to enable it.
Decided to go Hynes over Cleary until after origin, need a solid captaincy option.
thinking something like Levi to Iro/Schiller to enable the trade. Will see what TLT brings

Rapana to Angus would get you there and you have enough duals that it doesn’t really drop your scoring potential all that much….

I think there will be enough cheap WFBs in a few weeks (Walsh, Teddy, Latrell, Young, Garrick) that the rocks and diamonds Campbell could be let through to the keeper unless you’d consider trading BSmith this week?

    Hope TLT is kind.

    Trades for this week:
    Rapana to Iro
    Murray to Hynes

    gives me:

    Lussick
    Carrigan, May, Salmon
    KPP, Curran
    Hynes (c), Fogarty
    Kris, Iro
    Turbo, Papy, Kiraz

    DBrown, BSMith, Galvin, Strange
    Chan, Hughes, Burbo, Levi

    with 209k itb

A possible Salmon &Levi to Angus & JC on the cards next week to shore up the bench and have a playable 17. Probably jump on Chevy as the 3rd trade.
Other future trades I'm considering Carrigan to Haas when he's back, Fogarty to Cleary with the Raiders bye. We will see
Will start banking some trades after next week's tripple

Seems decent but would you consider Johnson (no origin) instead of Hynes and go higher up the food chain

A really radical option could be to go Jye Gray at HLF for a few weeks and go large in the forwards...

You already have good HLF options

    Round 6 result:
    Score: 990
    OR: 196

Well that went better than expected, it's not often that just about everyone in your team has a decent score, pretty stoked with the result. Captain Hynes slightly disappointing, but it was the right decision on paper. And it worked out with Murray's low soce this week due to HIA.
3 trade week coming up and will be able to strengthen the 17 and the bench.

    Team & trades round 7

    Lussick
    Carrigan, May, Curran
    KPP, Angus
    Hynes (c), Fogarty
    Strange, Iro
    Turbo, Papy, Kiraz

    DBrown, Galvin, Cheese, Waddell
    Chester, Salmon, Shoes, Chan

3 trade week is a great opportunity to strengthen the team and have a solid 17 plus some reasonable EMG options, here's what I'm leaning towards:
Burbo to Angus - easy trade, lot's of upside
Kris to Chester - like for like, but Chester has more potential and reduces Raiders numbers in my team
Levi to Waddell - hoping Waddell can get 4 weeks and will give me cover for the Bulldogs bye next week

Chewy - I reckon in your position you could get away with saving two (or at least one) trades this week. Consolidate your position and save them for the ride home from the death star. I don't get why you are doing sideways trades in your 18-21. Shoes is starting this week and should match Waddell and be around longer term... Kris will come good. You may regret the weeks where Kris scores tries and Chester does not?

I understand your concern, thanks for your feedback.
With the Bulldogs, Raiders, and Eels bye around the corner I almost need a playable 21, the trades I'm making help to ensure there is cover and balance going forward. I'm just about set for the first bye and plan on banking trades for the foreseeable future. Max trading this week sets me up nicely.
Chan may be my only trade next week

Happy with the result, gaining ranks, keeping the momentum.
My initial thought was to only do one trade - Salmon to Piakura, but it looks like Piakura will be another week away.

The main issue this week is the Fogarty injury, will look at replacing him with Cleary to keep the momentum going. Might drop Salmon for a cashie like Weekes to fund the upgrade.
Salmon will probably revert to lock for a 35ish avg once Preston returns after the bye.
Should be able to have some tradeless weeks moving forward

    rd 8 results:

    score: 906
    OR: 225

Captain Hynes saving the day, not the best round, but I had a bit of a buffer on the rest of the comp.
Moving closer towards the bye rounds with some interesting options popping up. Garrick, Plath, Jolliffe some really nice discounted players who can cover origin, score points, and gain cash. With Plath and Jolliffe potential keepers for the season.
