You made up the rumour, or that it was out of the Shire?

How long will McInnes be useful for? When Finucane gets back will he be a sell? Bit worried about his longer term usefullness

That's why I was looking at McInnis alternatives (Horsburgh and MoFo chiefly)... not sure Rudolf being out will be a bonus for McInnis, they have other middles there they can move to prop instead of Finucane, always a chance though.

Honestly, none of the above are likely top-tier keepers, so the aim more for a good short-term scorer who can be a stepladder, and McInnis might fit that bill.

There is a sample size of 1 game where McInnes and Finucane played but Rudolf didn't.
Finucane started lock, McInnes 50 minutes off the bench.

Paying 45 points for a 50 point scorer with good byes is alright, but don't see him as a must have.

I think that in Fantasy terms, Brandon Smith is a mid 30s guy that is capable of going large.

Some people get blinded by the fact that he once went large multiple weeks in a row (including me in round 1), but I don't think that is very repeatable scoring.

He's at that awkward price where he is too expensive to be a cashout, and will often score too low to be comfortably played in your 17.
Until its too late for me to bring him in, then he'll go on a run of tries and big scores

People have or are looking to bring in Robson and his scores alternate mid 40s and mid 70s
I am not saying Cheese can't do this but you are buying for the average, maybe he is a 30s 60s guy.
With the roosters cattle they shouldn't be bad forever and you would think his scoring comes with their change of form too
His poor scores are partly due to a lot of errors which ties in with a losing team.

The question is how many big scores and when/if do they start ?

Nothing is without risk but there aren't many cheap hookers or mid players, and if they are you are gambling on the bench minutes, role or shared hooker role

Anyways just chucking a player an extra player into the discussion

I know he's at the Tigers but Api is probably going to play Origin?

Whilst Finucane is out, McInnes could easily go 55-60 a starting lock. That makes him quite good for the price.

Finucane suspended, not injured, so its not a Hynes/Trindall situation where you can keep hoping for 1 more week.
By the time Finucane returns, McInnes likely to be price appropriately, and scoring well but below elite level

I see the value, but as someone who has been max trading, I am not 100% convinced he is worth it.

NSW selections are hard to predict, but my gut says that the bias against picking Tigers players will override the desire to stick loyal with guys who have been there and lost a series before.

EKatao and Loiero got a couple extra points from Thursday night updates too.

I've gained 13 points if you sum up all my players scores, but my round total does not yet reflect that. Should come round soon enough though

Griffin Neame out 8 weeks with a throat injury

Gee I wouldn’t want to be a Cowboys EDG at the moment, dropping like flies

It’ll be Hess and Nanai starting EDG I’m guessing

Hopefully this delay results in them finding the Grant and Alamoti OFHs study

In the 2 games that McInnes has played at Sharks without either Rudolf or Finucane playing, he has scored:
    - 62 in 56 minutes; and
    - 71 in 70 minutes.

Have a look at his scores at lock in 2020 pre-ACL, averaged 69 in 78 minutes.

I am planning to bring him in and looking for 3 weeks with around a 60 average, then if he can retain lock, continue at high 50s after that.

Surely, they’re finding a way to take back the 13 points I gained nearly 45 minutes ago!
