Cheers for the replies, wouldn't be surprised if first game jitters played its part a bit but also sounds like a bit of a chaotic game for him and the team in general.

I could go a bit wild and trade Uto to him enabling Garner to Tohu but likely just keep him on the watchlist this week.

I don't think he is a trade in this week, would need to have started with him to be a hold.

Hopefully Tohu continues to do good I got rid of Egan for him. Haas, Tapine & Tohu but with Cheese as my main hooker

Gotta hand it to him... MattNZ is super consistent and being inconsistent and then arguing that he is not

Wanted to fuck off Tino as soon as trades opened on Monday, but have ended up with Egan Butch and Cheese -> Haas and Ford. Will give Tino another week then reevaluate and see who puts their hand up as a trade in.

    Thoughts on these trades lads?

Just finished a day's worth of meetings. Pleasantly surprised to see 20 green dots (+ Turbo).

No trades at this stage, until Latrell is a late out at least.

I think both Egan/Cheese are worth persisting with for another round. If they both stink in Round 2 though then I'm considering trading (their bye accelerates that)

What other options do you have to trade out?

I personally would be trading Tino over Butcher, don't see a need to trade him, he got exactly the role you bought him for and should have better job security than Ford.

If I do Suaali'i to Thompson and Cheese to Robson it leaves me with 2k left but I've a keeper hooker which I could've started with. I could get Mahoney with 119k tho

There is a difference between starting with a player looking for them to end up with a role, and trading them in before they get the role.

How is this one for you, with that bench, Shaq looks like a buy this week.

Douehi was discussed at length in pre-season, Welshy correctly pointed out his average at 5/8 is 10points above his price.
Burton would need to improve considerable to get the same value.

I'd swap if I was in your place.

That was my rd1 team so I say no. Based on week. CNK and Miller seem alright for cheaper options

Any interest in Mbye playing at hooker? Any idea on how he scores there? Any WFB/Centre at that price is interesting for me.

Depleted pack, hasn't played under the new points for OFH and still averaged close to this in the past?

    I really like the player.

    My struggle:
    - maybe 5-8 points of value. Was priced at 45.
    - isn’t a keeper at the position if his score isn’t going 55+
    - can’t see his minutes increasing. The value is more OFH, captain, departure of other senior players.
    - coming back from injury has some risk (but small)

All in all a safe play that will get cash and scores but can’t see him providing enough value/joining the fantasy elite. Poor man’s Carrigan is my comp.

    Love the player though.

Jst posted this one page back mate. Cam also use the search function and see what has been said on a certain player (helpful top for all).

Not bad for his wfb/ctr price but a wait and see. Has Liddle and Amone to contest with too as just mentioned too

Might punt Katoa. Kid scored like trash in a winning team. Don't see him being fantasy relevant at all.

    Trades will be;

    TMM - Thompson
    Katoa - Carty

    Or maybe

    TMM - Hammer
    Preston - Carty

Paying 400K for Hammer though feels a bit gross.
