Foist!!! (or the slowest second ever)

Just here to grip about the fact that I fucked up the order of my trades in rd 19 when Cleary got wiped out. Confidently went to reverse Ming to Haas and got the old 'You are an idiot, check the order of your trades next time' message.

Could have done with both the trade and the extra points over the last few rounds

Also picked Lane last week in the mixer.....it's a real skill picking the only down round in 7 (didn't hold him this week)

Next on the agenda for the Aardvark Morning Report is the editing at Fox Sports.

I always enjoy their comedic editing overtones but this one really stood out

Just under a year ago Jake Turpin received the Broncos’ ‘most consistent’ award and now he is facing the prospect of being clueless for 2023.

    @Dark Knight.
What led you to pick Lane when you did. It was an inspired choice and he was nowhere on my radar. Interested to learn from the best!

TBF he's looked clueless in attack for most of his career

As a frequent winner of "Best Clubman' and 'Most Consistent' awards I have come to the conclusion that it means you show up every week to both training and the game and play at the same level all the time (regardless of what that level is Very Happy )

Winning a "Mr Consistent" award in a club with Payne Haas is a good effort

Would anyone loop in Ilias over Mahoney's 25?

Averages say I should probably go Ilias

I would. You wouldn't lose too many points but might scrape a couple extra.

I’m too technologically challenged to quote from the last thread, but I think I’m turning Aitken into the next Mal Meninga. Have Avo for cover but he is less than inspiring and I’ve got an important H2H I’m a slight underdog on. Banking on the former Garbo finding the next Morgan Harper this week and next.

    Yes.

I'm thinking of looping Vailea over Walters 29, but that seems even more marginal.

I would. When playing 80 minutes, Ilias has only scored under 25 once since round 6. Unfortunately, that was last week to muddy the waters. Also has a -3 in 29 minutes and 0 in 1 minute in that time of course, but have to bank on him playing 80.

I don't mind the Talakai punt.

Anyone think Bird might sneak back into the pack again? Just get those feels from the team list. Reuben off the extended bench, move Moga to the centres and JDB to prop and Woods back to the bench? Bird back at lock?

I’m thinking about going all in now and using both trades. Fifita and Mulitalo vs Luci and Talakai. Leaning the former at this stage hoping Fifi can destroy the Knights and Warriors.

Edit: quiet afternoon at work, haven’t looked at team all week and now……
