How good the original though, etched in time as one of the all time faves.

Re: TV thread 2
I've finally joined the crowd and am going through Mr Inbetween. Part way through season 2 already, easy to watch I imagine I'll get through it pretty quickly.
Good to be back on the Game Of thrones wagon, 1st episode of House of the Dragon was good, that's the number 1 show in the cow household at the moment.
Only Murders in the Building season 2 finale was great, best episode of the season.
The calves enjoy watching Masked Singer. Don't know why, they don't know any of the celebrities, but gee is that show rubbish.

One I'd saved for a rainy day was Foundation, an apple series.
Watched it over the last few weeks, outstanding and in the vein of The Expanse and Battlestar Galactica. Highly recommended.

I feel like a real negative nelly in this thread but found Foundation just didn't deliver in terms of dialogue or acting.
Loved the storyline and Lee Pace is fucking amazing but the rest was just average with a big budget.
New Game of Thrones series going well. LotR series is as expected. The Resort was great, probably my favourite recent show.
She Hulk is OK, hard to see where it's going at this stage.

Re: TV thread 2
I've enjoyed the Wrexham docu episodes
Prey was excellent
She-hulk could have had better character development in the story line
Murders in the building was a good watch with the family
Not a real fan of Stranger Things, but the rest of the family seemed to be invested

Re: TV thread 2
Another person who just realised there are other threads here.
The way TV works in my house is my wife watches about 6 shows at once and I maybe commit to 1-2, then I might pick up enough on 1-2 others to start watching late.
Recent watch:
Only Murders In The Building S2 - thought it was slightly off the rails in the middle of the season for a bit, but really pulled it together strong at the end. Great show. Strikes me that I'm ageing myself a little, feels like a show I'd have never watched when I was in the 18-34yo bracket. But now that I'm middle aged I'm like, "Steve Martin Short have great chemistry and Selena Gomez hangs with them". It such a wholesome show about murders.
Started:
Pieces of Her, the premise is good but the show might be a bit average tbh. Do not recommend. Short enough series that I'll see it through
Ignoring:
House of Dragon - just not a Game of Thrones fan. At the risk of being a late nominee for the softcock award, I kinda watch TV to be happy these days and I'm not great with gratuitous violence. Seeing Lily Allen's bro being tortured and stuff like that kinda turned me off. Similarly the missus was watching this and there was some unnecessary violent bits and I'm just like "sorry, I'm out".

Filed under "random UK shows nobody else cares about"
Only Connect just started its latest season last week. Probably my favourite game show these days, even if its tough to get more than 1 question right.

Just discovered there are other threads on here.
Also just binged Kleo on Netflix. Very good.
I liked Only Murders and my new thing (a year or two late) is How To With John Wilson - undefinable docucomedy.

Watched All American recently. High school football player from a poor black community in South LA joins a team in Beverly Hills. Covers some difficult topics while also keeping a sports element at the core

No no not a negative Nelly, it is amazing though how we are all so different in how we view a product. Like some of the series me tinned here I couldn't handle, very basic and light... I need some depth haha.
We watched the resort but it was just like an Indiana Jones film, light and fun. I did think the acting by Baltazar was brilliant though.
The new Dragons series is gud, but it is just more of the same.
Lee pace and Laura Birn are great in Foundation, the layers of story and acting is top notch. It's setup and feels like a Star wars saga historically, just in terms of scope I mean.
Never got around to Better call Saul, and into the first season this week. A good one to have up the sleeve, gr8 start.

Only Murders is on Disney+
Imagine its easy enough to find through other means if you want to. Pretty good light entertainment.
Middle of season2 drags a little, but final episode of season 2 is probably their best Steve Martin and Martin Short have such excellent chemistry.
I finished Mr Inbetween, its as quality as everyone on here suggests it is.

3rd season of war of the worlds has started. Caught me by surprise considering the end of the second season.
First two seasons on SBS on demand for those wanting to give it a crack - I quite enjoyed it.
