    LORD of the BYES - Round 15 Results
    ================================

    It was a big week for Origin players and heavy hitting teams, and a tough week for bye-round strategists.

    Only 13 out of 43 entrants managed to gain some ranks this week, with the average score of those 13 teams being a mighty 1155 points. NRL Fantasy expert Chris Kennedy finally had a week to cheer about.

    The Top rank improvers this week:

    Revraiser continues to dominate the table for most rank improvement.

    The Rank Improvers Leaderboard:

    Finally, in the relative rank improvement table, theWeapon has now overtaken 90% of the teams that were ahead of him three rounds ago..

    ================================

    Here are the top 20 scorers for this round.

    Code Delta topped the weekly with an huge 1082 points proving the stand-out amongst all us unfortunate souls who Captained Tohu Harris. A valiant second place for Sajjos who was rewarded with his bold Captaincy selection in Isaiah Papali'i  afro

    LORD of the BYES - Round 16 Results
    ================================

    The post Origin Cleary-less-Captaincy-conundrum helped create a lot of scoring variation this round.

    Just over half of our teams managed to gain ranks this week, with Code Delta the clear stand out.

    The Top rank improvers this week:

    Revraiser has one hand on the Rank Improvers title - will anyone catch him?

    The Rank Improvers Leaderboard:

    Finally, in the relative rank improvement table, Pain is the new leader as he surges towards a top 100 rank (having started the comp just outside the top 2k).

    Relative Rank Improvers Leaderboard:

    Next week is of course the second BYE round.
    With R17 numbers dropping like flies, it's shaping up as a defining round for the Lord of the Byes crown.

    I should hold the rank improvers title, but can't see overall being mine. Not set up at all for round 17, 4 trades to go. It has added alot of fun to this period though, awesome work Tiger

    Great work easytiger,i had another decent score considering I captained Harris with 1023, moved up the table nicely, although r17 and r18 could prove very difficult for numbers playing

    Thanks tiger. It's set up for an interesting finale. My money's on The Weapon, who looks like he'll be rolling out a stacked team for Round 17. I'm hoping for a place on the podium though, with enough gas in the tank to get me to the end of the season.

    TBH I have no idea how everyone is setup for R17 or what a good number of players/score will be.
    The top 20 are separated by 300 points, and the top 10 by less than 200 - it could be anyone's game really - especially if R18 ends up with lots of rested players.

    Thank you all for the appreciation - I'm looking forward to see how it all unfolds.

    I can't recall if I mentioned, but I'm also hoping to organise a Fantasy shirt (via Ben Marlin) for the champion - which is likely to be done at the end of the regular season (at the same time as the League champs).

    Is this comp inclusive of round 18 ?

    Make sure u PM Ben Marlin as I know there's a thing where he will prefer to order all at once.

    Yeah, will do.
    I've already mentioned it to him - he's thinking about a special design for the end of season champions which would be cool.

    And yes, the comp does include Round 18 - If it's anything like other years, it's always a tough one to navigate as well - so fits with the difficult task of navigating the bye period.

    Thanks again mate, looking to try to have a big improvement over the next 2 weeks with 11 trades in hand.
    Team atm for R17 is:

    SST Taupau
    Walker SJ
    Walsh

    Trading in Savage, Verrills & 2 mid-high priced guys to end up with 9 players. Bringing Savage in should mean I have 17 no matter what for Round 18 too.

    I think I might resist the temptation to go really big, and just make two trades and field 10 players this weekend. Will most likely bring in Ramien (though the question is who to dump out of Bird and Peachey), and maybe AFB / Taupau / Lodge

    Solid start with CHN, though I wasn't expecting to drop 30 ranks overall (I wonder how many captained CHN). I guess maybe a few people still have Croker too
