I primarily play fantasy over SC/VSDT because I think the UI is a lot better (when it works) but if fantasy falls down in other areas I am happy to switch. They seem to have grown their user base this year though so people must be happy enough with them

Why would there be 3 fantasy games all offering the same rules though, part of the game as has been for years is finding "reliable ctrs" and managing the lesser trades

I play fantasy more because i'm more familiar with it and there's more people who do here who I enjoy talking about league and all sorts of other shit

I personally don't see an issue with the game, as you are entering into it knowing the parameters

If Api scores 20 more points than Uto over the next three weeks, it's a good trade as Uto isn't going to score 60 in round 13 so no point holding him if you actually can make that trade

Need parra 9+h/t 13+ f/t and sivo and Ferg any time try scorers for 3500 buck multi.

Realistically we all spend bugger all on centres, we all skimp out, most of us probably didn't commit to anything higher than 350k on one at the start, and that's a premium. We all roll the dice on rabble and hope we get lucky.

But if you're going to just buy a bunch of guys who are 220-320k to fill a position, you can't really be surprised when what you end up with is a whole bunch of problems. You're buying guys who are rookies, you're buying guys like Roberts who have a reason they're cheap, you're buying guys who haven't secured their position.

If people fronted the money for a more expensive option, you'd likely get less headaches, though of course you can get unlucky and buy a Lomax and he gets hurt, but that happens in any position. But we never entertain starting with 550k on a guy like Manu who is averaging 40 and is never going to get dropped.

We all decide that isn't worth the investment, so we have to wear it.

You never really see less serious players complain about centres in that way because they're sitting there with something like Manu and Crichton. Of course the rest of their squad then suffers but you can't have it all.

Injuries across the comp are fucking crazy this year though.
