Hey Braith I love how you talk over the top of Koro and Yeo addressing the team. I'd hate to hear some insight from the senior Penrith players, and would much rather hear you ramble about god knows what.

Even though To’o has scored bit lower today if this is his base can’t be disappointed
Though I wouldn’t say no to a junk time try again

Supercharge sauce. Mmmmm.
I lived above a KFC in London many moons ago. My flatmate went away for a week and he came home to 7 x empty zinger boxes in the kitchen. He was the cook and I did my best to cope in his absence. Should get a cholesterol check.

Because at the moment the challenge is not fun.
Last year there was an excuse of a global pandemic, and the NRL drastically changing the rules mid comp. But this is the 2nd year in a row a large number of people are struggling just to field 17 fit players every week. 21 man squads is not enough to adequately cover injuries and have a decent scoring squad. And with top teams averaging 55+ points per player each week, playing 1 man short for even a week is really punishing. That is not where the excitement in playing fantasy lies. Personally, I am not finding it enjoyable to plan trades this season.
If they don't change the squad size or number of trades next year, I am unsure how much time I'll actually put into the comp. I'll still create a team but will probably be like the casuals and just spend 20 minutes a week planning trades.

I find this amusing whilst keeping his best player in Cleary on the pitch.
Obviously captained his own kid in fantasy

Honestly for me it's part of the game, everyone plays under the same rules.

This is what I thought last year. 18 weeks in a row, Cleary-less, I thought this will be the week he gets a rest, just doesn't happen. 100% hold for me over origin too this year.

Agreed. I picked the popular Bird / Roberts combo, with Averillo / Niu on the bench for "lots of cover".
Trade raged Averillo out when he was dropped, Niu disappears, Roberts becomes a spud and Bird missed a game due to suspension.
Managing this mess has taken up way more of my time than watching Cleary gun it each week, working to get the cash to pick up Haas at his pow price point, picking up Schuster as a Half/Edge DPP cover etc.
Almost every team has the same players, differences come down to Centres or finding a Poddish 'gun' (Mattnz strategy).
I like the risk / reward element of centre position, as much as they drive me mad at times.

Yes, but everyone playing under the same rules means nothing if the rules don't make for a fun game. They could make everyone run with just 18 player squads. Everyone would be under the same rules but wouldn't make it a good idea.
I primarily play fantasy over SC/VSDT because I think the UI is a lot better (when it works) but if fantasy falls down in other areas I am happy to switch. They seem to have grown their user base this year though so people must be happy enough with them

JFH one of the best props in the NRL if not the best as well
Don’t know if Panthers could keep up this if Leniu/Eisenhuth was in that spot whereas Cleary would be replaced by Burton

Well koro playing 80 will be coming into my team next week. Just hoping alot of of teams don't have the funds to bring him in so he can be poddish.

The game would probably be more "fun" if there were legit more than one captain option per week. But theres fuck all way to have foreseen the way Cleary is scoring this year. Mcinnes getting injured didnt help i guess.. but i doubt he matches Cleary.
My team is going shit but i have no issue with the way the game is set up. Ive made decisions that just havent come off.
Respect and understand where youre coming from though. Ive always liked the "carnage" and i guess think i can back myself to come out better off than others...

Yeah, I think JFH is the best front-rower in the world at the moment.
