    Anyone guessing who it'll be

Brooks came out and said before the trial he hadnt kicked in a match since school when he was 18, that a number of them were practicing and he would step up if asked round 1. So no gaurentee he will kick round 1 and smart money would say when playing.

I'm really suspicious of groupthink and yet have all of the 12 most popular players in the game and four more of the top 20 :/

Consoling myself that while a lot of people own those players, not that many will own *all* of them...

Yeah I got a bit carried away there. I have been unsure about selections before but it has always been because there is too many options not too little. lockout is tomorrow and I just don't know how to fill the numbers

    Late mail:

Rookie rake Tyson Smoothy is in contention for a late Storm call-up with Craig Bellamy indicating Brandon Smith won't play the full 80 minutes at hooker.

A few teams will rely on back-up goal-kickers in round one due to injuries. Kodi Nikorima will take the tee for the Warriors as Chanel Harris-Tavita, who will play, continues to manage his quadriceps injury.

George Williams will replace Jarrod Croker (lack of conditioning after shoulder surgery) as Canberra's conversion specialist, while Knights forward Mitch Barnett is reportedly set to stand in for the injured Kalyn Ponga.

Mate, I have almost the same decision but with 8k more, and I have a couple of them anyway but not Turpin who then adds more combinations.

Keep switching between SST & Gosi, Paulo & Gosi, Tino & Fui & change (current preferred option, cash in bank will be useful), Tino & Lodge, Turpin & Lodge (yuck), even Macca & Stefano.

Depends if both are in 17, but if not obviously lean to first couple

If both in 17 probably better for 2 mid-rangers, probably h/j/k

Not a fan of Turpin mate? Keen to hear why you're giving him a miss

I want to see if he plays 80mins first or Paix comes on. Having 145k in the bank is pretty good tho didn't get Lam either went with Averillo as backup

A lot of this will come down to squad balance. Do you need 2 playable players for your 17, or just 1? What positions do you have the least cover in currently?

Egan no probably priced around what he'll average. Bought Croker in this morning and got rid few hours later with uncertainty over what happens if Cust back next week.

I have real FOMO with Tino but considering going to Welch to get some more cash in the bank... and maybe getting Milf...... Embarassed

Welch priced at 40 and averaged 50.9 last year with games over 50 minutes. Starting playing 55-60 min ish towards the end of last year and with Finucane gone for a while and B Smith stuck in hooker til Grant is back I think he can maintain that role for the first month or so at least. And likely keep it moving forward

I had FOMO over Tino then realised I really wanted SST so made it work instead. Tino is problem if scores tries and up against my Warriors first so will suck if he carves up. Started with SST 2 seasons ago. Scored 28 Rd 1 sold for big loss then he carved up 6 of next 7
