The problem with Cleary is that gees he’s so expensive. If I removed Cleary now I could have Cook, Brimson and Lam instead of Robson, Clearyvabd Ramsay! The latter is okay if Robson gets 80 and Ramsay knocks Dufty out of FB a Saints.

I read somewhere that hutchinson?? is seen as the future hlf at the roosters and so am concerned that Lam's position mightn't be secure.

Not Hutchinson mate its Walker as their long-term hope and likely to start with Lam and move on if struggling. Keighran also there and potential to move in. Flanno had a good run and was pretty mediocre, unlikely the Rooster struggle enough for Lam to not get a good season/half season but could be wrong

I got that wrong. Still, I'm liking the idea of 2 gun halves.

Definite risk/reward with Lam, think his true value tied into how long he holds onto the jersey

I’m currently spending about 1.2 million at centre. Am I better off going one safe centre (if they actually exist) plus Niu and with cheapie in 21st spot as back up or the two safe bets at centre with Niu as back up reserve? It will cost somewhere between 150-200k to play safe.

Current side - 5 genuine guns - other potential guns - only 3 origin players

Getting more solid with draft 3

    McCullogh
    Murdoch-Masilla Watson Ah Mau
    Matterson Fifita
    Cleary Lam
    Walker Bird
    Trbojevic Tedesco Oates

Brailey Liddle Ford Milford (apparently back prior to R1)

    Koloamatangi Niu Laurie Blore

    Thoughts?

Why have people decided that Tino Fa'asuamaleaui doesn't make the cut?

If he is starting as expected, I can't help but think that he is quite undervalued. I am thinking of cutting Clearly for Moses, upgrading Koloamatangi to Fa'asuamaleaui, death-riding Cleary, and playing captain roulette!

Still on radar, but tough to gauge his minutes in decent paper Titans pack.

Will need 60+ minutes to make significant cash is my thinking

Also, despite his DPP, I reckon Crichton has got the potential to be a bit of a 'black widow'. I cannot bring myself to put him in my side over Matterson.

With Cordner down for at least 12 weeks, I think Crichton is perfectly safe for 80 minutes on that edge. Bateman had the same risk and he was fine.

Fitzgibbon the assistant coach on the talking league pod said Keighran was training to fill that mr fix it role left by aubo so hopefully that’ll mean Crichton doesn’t find himself being moved around too much

Doesn't sound like anyone punched anyone except for Lichaa punching out some windows and Elliott tongue-punching Lichaa's missus.

They call it the Family Club, don't think it will go down too well with Elliott's partner just having become a dad not that long ago.

By dropping Teddy from my draft I've managed to fit in all of Cook, Cleary, Munster, Crichton, and two solid centres in Momo and Ramien. I think I'm liking this set up more with my backs as TTurbo, Moylan, Holmes and Hopo/Oates as cover.
