Dan Walsh on NRL.COM - Ponga says he will be back round 3 or 4.

Walters has confirmed on Broncos site that Pangai and Lodge will play the Wynnum trial next week.

If he was priced low 40's or below I'd take the plunge, but not where he is over 50. Too volatile. Probably plays 50 to 60 mins in the middle and will no doubt have some big scores and some poor ones. He gets a lot of those 'missed tackles' from putting shots on and someone else wrapping up the tackle. Admittedly he could benefit from the forced turnover rule. Problem is loves a suspension. I don't need the stress.

Geez thats unlucky, at least he has some security. I'd rather the Dragons figure out the hooker position without him too, we are already going to suck this year anyway. Wish we still had Robson -_-

is Macca worth it now? He was elite in 80 min games last year but I'm a bit hesitant. That extra 100k from downgrading Grant to him could go a long way in my team.

When/if the Dragons grab Macca for this year, surely he goes into most teams based on his 2020 and price.

I don't think he'd be an autopick. Coming back from a serious injury and I've owned him in the past and his scores can be very underwhelming. Still 80 min/2020 Macca adapted to the new rules very well and would be very tempting. Especially as plays the first bye. Although if he keeps putting up 65s byes are irrelevant and he's a season keeper.

If blokes are getting injured left right and centre in just the preseason this year, this year will be all about picking the uninjured guys.

According to Wacko on twitter, Gilbert had been training as a middle forward. So whoever gets the Cowboys edge spot in round 1 would have some sort of job security (Hola would be the popular fantasy buy)

Wow massive news re McInnes. That’s terrible news for the Dragons.

All of a sudden Macca and Robson are in the frame.

With the speed of the play I can see Macca sustaining his avg of 53 tackles a game that he had last year.

He’s priced at 54, I could see him averaging around 59-60 over 80mins.
