Whoa, ted on 0 at ht, when was the last time that happened?

Well, finally got a captain's choice right somewhere... assuming Haas doesn't go massive. But I put the C on McInnes in this one and it's proved to be an early leveller. My Eliminator was predicted to win before kick off, but at the moment we're projected to get exactly the same score. How curious.

Anyway, out of curiosity, as a few chaps have done this, this is how we're looking;

Lomax vs Dufty
Tevaga vs Katoa
DCE vs Staggs
Siro vs Cook
Leilua vs Klemmer
Bateman vs Luai
Johnson vs Williams
Rudolf vs RCG

My eliminator matchup

Aubs (55) v Tohu
Jurbo v Munster
Cook v Talau
Carrigan v Klemmer
Eisenhuth v Nofoaluma
Pearce v Luai
G Williams v Rudolf

Projections have me winning, but its not completely comfortable

we both VC'd McInnes
currently he has captain Fifita and I have captain Haas

Would you
a) leave (c) on Haas
b) switch to Fifita to match opponent
c) Loop McInnes's 86 - AE would be Talau, or Clune's 36 (or whoever I drop from my 17 for a dud captain)

I'd sit tight with Haas. Think he is a better option than Fifita and you have the edge in the other match ups

Eliminator swung back in my favour last night I think

RTS vs Teddy (22)
Farnworth vs Lomax (72)
Cook vs Koroisau
Latrell vs Nofo
Mann vs Rudolf
Williams vs Brown
Bateman vs Katoa
SJ vs Klemmer

Just need a good showing from RTS and Farnworth to come out ahead in that match up

I think if I have the edge, matching captain is safer choice.
If Fifita goes massive but Haas fails, that is my biggest chance of falling behind

If Fifita fails and Haas kills it - I'll stay level at worst if I match captains

I don't know, Talau's floor is pretty low. I'd be leaning towards matching captain and relying on a good level of quality across your team to pick up the slack. Yo

Tempted to loophole McInnes, but the AE is likely going to be Walters who will probably get a single digit score this week so not really worth it

AE of Walters/Talau/Hammer means its a bit risky, but we'll see how it goes

You sticking with captain Haas?

Loop option seems risky if you have one of Walters, Talau and Hammer. To have all three and trust that none of them will inflict a single digit figure is madness.

Eliminator has swung but my way after first set of games

Me: 74+ Mann, Bateman, Williams, SJ vs Klemmer, Nofo, Koroisau, DBrown, Rudolf

McIntyre benched... better to play Shiba do we think?

Siro only flop for me so far, whereas he's had Staggs, E.Katoa, Williams and Luai all underwhelm.

104 ahead with Rudolf and Johnson to play vs his RCG.

On a side note, anyone else have the App for this on their phone - I'm using Android. My app just died last night and I can't use it anymore. Asks me if I want to open using Chrome or Browser and then just goes to a white screen. Gone. Anyone else have this?

Nice work. glad i didn’t weigh in - probably would have suggested SMac as the safer play if you were ahead in your eliminator
