How do people think Holmes will be when he comes back after a year off, like Steve Smith or Jarryd Hayne?

Had a thought regarding fantasy impact of Latrell leaving Roosters. Obviously still unsure about where he ends up, but assuming he leaves, there is replacement CTR and GK replacement

Not really too interested in Billy Smith as he's priced at 30 average with adjusted pricing for a 2 game rookie

Though in terms of GK, SST or Flanagan will take over and should add a fair few points to their averages, given Roosters' strength. Both had pretty average goal conversion rate last year (Flanagan 61%, SST 50% but only from 6 attempts) but SST has higher overall career goalkicking percentage of 70%.

Flanagan priced at 34.6 average with adjusted pricing, averaged 43 as starter last year
SST priced at 44.1 average with adjusted pricing, average excluding injuries of 46.4 last year

    Well said
Although in the games Flanagan played last year, he was kicking goals so he won’t get any additional points

Yeah was going to point this out, though Roosters will probably score more tries than Sharks across the season (118 Roosters, 94 Sharks). Flanagan isn't actually the best kicker (few games Sharks lost last year scoring more tries were from Flanagan GK) so wondering if this means SST will playing longer mins or maybe SST kicks while he's on the field and Flanagan kicks while he's off it

Not many times do teams willingly split GK though during games barring injuries. Sharks did it in the bye round last year vs Broncos when they subbed on Flanagan to take conversion after Townsend missed conversions

I don't expect a big fantasy output from Val Holmes, but for his sake I hope he does ok on the field.
I'm steering clear for the beginning of the season

So Roosters scored an extra 24 tries than sharks. Flanagan has a conversation rate of 61% so he would only get an extra 15 goals (0.61 x 24 = 14.64)
It’s 2 fantasy points for every conversion so that is a potential extra 30 points over the season for Flanagan. Taking his average up to 44.25 (43 + 30/24)
But like you said, he may lose the goal kicking to SST so that pretty much negates any minimal upside in goalkicking for roosters.

Probably not, but Friend will probably still get 50 points in basestats if he plays 60 mins

Sorry verrills got auto corrected to bedrolls. But yeah 80 minute hookers seem to score most of their points in the first 60 minutes then they stay pretty much the same unless they get attacking stats during the last 20
