With that in mind, I've only played this comp once before, the last year it was a paid comp, and I just had a look at the team I finished up with that year (I came second overall) and it wasn't as good as the team I have right now. Is it a year full of value plays or have they got the prices/salary cap wrong this year. I feel like it has been way to easy to get a gun side and its taken part of the fun away....

I didn't play last year but Barkley, Mahomes and Connor have definitely returned points with ridiculous value and pretty much everyone has them

yea, you are right. The year I played was FOnrnette's rookie year I think, there were several RBs that did well, but none great, and certainly no QB, so perhaps as you say its just the year for rookies. Its made it a little too easy to get a gun team though....

I tried sportsdeck NBA but lasted a few weeks, it was the most time consuming fantasy sport I’d ever played due to the number of games abd the way the weeks are scheduled. I couldn’t keep up with it. NFL is great in that sense. Info is readily available and pretty accurate, and schedules short and simple.

Jesus, had no idea that Carlson had been signed by Oakland to kick. Lucky I decided not to take Mahomes 54 and see if I could get a few more out of Gurley, otherwise I would have been rocking captain Carlson. As it is I have him on the field instead of new addition Crosby. Anyone else miss that news?

Yeah I play. About 300th last week. Played last year as well, its just about exploiting the fixtures. To be fair I play every comp on Sportsdeck except for horse racing, and I usually lose interest in the rugby fairly early in the season seeing as I never watch those games these days. We could start a league if anyone else is playing NBA?

Nice score this week, starting to stretch that lead out to hard-to-catch territory with 10 rounds to go. My early trades are looking like Godwin>Thomas and trying to figure out which kicker I want to replace Maher for the run home.

Re: NBA, I'm up to 14th overall. Early days but I might need to take it seriously now Wink

Would welcome a big score from Gronk and Edelman tonight to take me into the 600s

With Michel out (and Birkenhead) you’d think Brady takes control. I’m expecting a lot of passing yards today. Who those yards go to, and more importantly who gets the TDs is a bit of a ? Though

Sounds like Josh Gordon will sit out the first Q today. Good news for Gronk and Eldelman!

Some good scores coming from outside of the top 4 in our group this week which has compressed the table quite a bit.

Should be a competitive second half of the comp by the looks.

Anyone else have issues dealing with byes this week - I have Green, OBJ, Barkley all sitting which means either I trade or have a couple 2nd tier guys (3rd tier in the case of my WR) starting this week.

Also, Im interested in how are people ranking the top 4 RBs and top 6 WRs at this point?

    At this stage Im thinking:
RBs - Gurley, Gordon, Barkley, and a toss up between Kamara/Elliot (in that order)
WRs - Brown, Thomas, Hopkins, Adams, Jones, Thielen/Evans/Green

Nice score this week R&T. Took a big chunk of my lead away. Pacey's Best outscored me by over 100 this week, wowzers.

I'm playing Chubb or Johnson this week to cover RB. Edelman is cover for WR again. Go son!

Has anyone been tucking some trades away? Hopefully not haha....

Anyone think Marvin Jones is a good idea this week? I can go Coutee > Jones and he'll be my WR cover 'til end of season - unless he makes enough cash to do a sideways to another premium (if I've still got trades left by then)
