I finally got a garbage team to fit inside the cap, had to say goodbye to Manners to get it done though. Didn't fucken need'em anyway.

Left with a top 4 of Cam, JDB, NBrown and Tohu Harris.

Backline looks trash as fuck, so no point posting it up with all the changes I'll inevitably make.

Shortlisted a bunch of cows and midranger cows that have been touted so far. Probably missing a few still, but I ain't getting paid for this shit.

HK: Cook, Lichaa, Garvey, Kodi, Watson, Havili

FR: JBrom, Matulino, Nelson AS, Lodge, Ese'ese, Alvaro, Latu, Evans, Kikau

SR: Harris, Arrow, Nelson AS, Cartwright, Murray, Elliot, Faitala-Mariner, Aubs

HF: JRey, Kodi, Cartwright, Croker, Watson, Mbye, Croft

CT: Milne, Hiku, Isaako, Opacic, Naiqama, Aubs

FB: Ponga, Inglis, Moylan, Coote, Hiku, Isaako, Naiqama, Fonua, Mbye, Oates

Naiqama's my own personal choice if you're wondering wtf he's doing there.

I think starting guys like Croker and Hiku is best avoided if you can. Might make some cash, but I am not betting on solid scores.

Playing them (and presumably having a bench full of cheapies) does free up cash for more guns though

Last year the thought was that the Knights didnt have many forwards but they still seemed to produced heaps by seasons end. This year they're a bit more stacked and I do think he'll improve I don't think it'll be by that much priced at 36.6 I don't see him going to 40 consistently

You'd assume Matt Scott won't get the other starting spot with Lillyman and Ese'ese from the bench

Has anybody worked out the 2017 v 2018 cost comparison? E.G. Cheapie < $300k, Mid ranger ~ $550k, Keeper $700+?? Because Smith last season was almost 10% of salary cap, and he's priced similarly this season.. Price wise what are we looking at?

Feels hard to avoid guys like Hiku in the CTR/WFB positions, unless you put up massive cash for a back-line sometime like:

    Milne/MAubbs
    Teddy/Ponga/Inglis

And to be honest I don't trust Inglis, especially if he starts the year at CTR.

So Taupau and Papalii (and perhaps McGuire) are the only real standout guns with DPP 2FR/FRF this year. They aren't really a priority now, but I do expect to see one of these guys in most teams come the end of the year.

I was looking to start with McGuire myself but I'm unsure of the broncos forwards their minutes and if some of the younger guys will start to get more minutes this year. Also I think that Oates will be getting some game time in the second row sooner rather than later. I think it pushes Gillett to lock and Oates to slip into the right side there. Glenn unless injured will still be playing 80 mins as will Gillett.

Who knows by the end of the year McGuire might be back at 10 with Glenn Oates and Gillett 11,12 and 13

My gut feel on oates is that bennett says "i told you so" after givng oates a run in 2nd row in a trial. Also it fits the team much better for oates to stay on the wing.

At the moment ive got mcguire. Im not really certain on him and it was largely due to DPP. Line of thought around macca easing back into it after ACL as well, aka more work for mcguire. But we also have TPJ who probably gets more game time this season...

If Hiku get a centre spot he could possibly average around 30.
Not terrible, especially for his price.

Certainly though Hiku is a better prospect than Kennar, who averages 17 on the wing. If he replicates that this year he could make as much as $10,000 profit.

Last coach interview I read suggested Inglis at fullback. Not too long to wait now though

Last years Magic number around 9500, this year its 14640

So times last years price by 1.54 to get the 2018 equivalent.

Smith is priced at the equivalent of about $596k in last years money. (He started last year at $631k, his 2016 average was better than his 2017 one)

Think hes def moving. Interesting but bold choice if you go with him without some certainty over mins. Who plays 80 out of papalii tapine whitehead if they are 11, 12, and 13 respectively

So it is more about their averages really to work out where everyone is. But you are pretty spot on with your ranges.

Guns are around $700k + (That is the low tier guns, with premium ones at $800k +)
Borderline Guns $600k - $700k (These guys aren't talked about that much, unless there is a chance for them to make the leap to gun. Due to price)
    Mid-Rangers - $400k - $600k
    Cheapie - $300k - 400K
    Nuffie - $228k - $300k
