I think you can find 4 players that fit this at 228k that will make good money and not have to be in your 17
    1 wfb/ctr
    1 2nd row
    1 fr row
1 hlf (ddp here would be good)

leaves 4 spots open in any position. Its a pity there arent to many ddp FRers.

There are some combos that really open things up while covering everyone, Cartwright + Nas in 14-17 with Kennar at 21 for example

I'm just hoping a bottom dollar 2FR comes into play, because if they do, I might run with what I posted earlier, or thereabouts.

Yeah me too. I think $500k is still top tier until I see Gavets price and think somethings not quite right

Hmmm....not all happy at Penrith then. That's if Mole isn't talking shit again. Wonder where he'd go?

If that happens, Tyrone May looking like a great option. Or maybe Peachy can play half?

Cleary has stated that he would like to play for his dad at some point.

Some rumours site has an article last week where they mentioned Roosters long term plans involved trying to grab Ivan and Nathan (possibly for 2 years away when Cronk retires?)

Cleary wont go any where, they wont release him and im sure they would pick a 10+ year top halfback over a half baked coach in the long run

Last I read, Welch was racing the clock for rd1 I thought? Also do the Storm run a bench utility? If they did, one of Glasby, Kasiano, Welch, KBrom, NAS misses out. They might ease Welch back?

Seems like most of the Panthers players can't stand their coach. Further on the Cartwright it seems he was forced out of town. I read on a Panthers forum that his house has been vandalised 3 times in the last month & he was receiving death threats against himself, partner & baby. The police seemed to be doing nothing about it as well.

    Remember when griffin
-persisted with hoffman at 5/8. A man who could not actually pass to his left.
    -pushed parker into prop
-fattened up barba, making him useless
-couldnt work out corey norman, signed old man scott prince instead.
    -couldnt use a bench

I once counted how many passes Hoffman made in a game at 5/8 I was that pissed about him playing there.

Not sure how many show and goes he threw that game but he passed the ball twice the entire match.

    Hook cant coach.

The way the comp is set up this year, I can see most players running out of trades by rounds 18-20, especially if they use a maximum of 12 trades between rounds 13-17.
Unless I start with as many round 13 players as I can, I will be running out of trades way too early.

Speaking of which - how many players are people going to try and get for the bye rounds

Maximum possible availability is 33 players over the 2 bye rounds (field a full 17 in round 13, with 4 AE spots being taken by R17 players, then use all 12 trades between R13 and R17 to trade R13 players out and R17 players in)

Every origin player that you keep reduces your max available bye players by 1.

So if you have Smith and Tedesco as keepers, and no other origin players, then the most you can field is 31 players over 2 rounds.

Which assumes no injuries or suspensions in rounds 13+17, and that you spend all 10 trades between bye rounds replacing R13 players with round 17 players.

And assuming you keep Smith and Tedesco - you can only keep 2 other players through both byes, everyone else has to be traded out.

Realistically, that is not going to happen, so what sort of coverage are people going to look for. Will 13 each week be OK for most people?
15 or more both weeks seems unattainable without killing your team for other rounds
