I haven't looked at the FRF rotation in detail at the dragons, does anyone have an idea what minutes the starters got last season?

Well the dragons top 4 props last year were

    Mike Cooper 52 minutes
    Tariq Sims 44 minutes
    Leeson Ah Mau 40 minutes
    Russell Packer 40 minutes

That adds up to more than 160 minutes of prop time -
They rarely had all 4 playing at the same time so would have guys like Will Matthews, Jake Marketo, Jacob Host, Dunamis Lui also in the prop rotation playing smaller minutes
Also Mike Cooper often played at lock.

As starting prop Mike Cooper averaged 55 minutes (and 44 points)

I guess if Vaughan can take over Cooper's minutes, and maintain his output then its a possibility. I guess something to keep an eye on over pre-season.

Yeah, I've done similar with Smith and McInnes (Mary has big wraps on him). Have tossed up Farah, McCullough and Peats in that order to but went with McInnes due to Havilli being a worse back up compared to Cook and Niko.
Origin for Farah if he's in form and Peats injury history.

If Farah plays origin, byes make him a no go.
I've learnt in the past picking players with bad origin byes and planning to trade them later is generally a bad idea. Maybe for one player, max.

Smith is all but locked in for me, and 2nd hooker up for grabs.

That puts the whole Vaughan argument into perspective. I remember we had a similar discussion about LAM last season who didn't end up getting the minutes. Wait and see with this one for me

Vaughan being next year's LAM is my big concern. There's also always some big PPM king who scores at over 1 ppm in his 15-20 minute stints, and a bunch of people select him assuming he's about to go massive, but it pretty much never eventuates

if the Dragons do end up swapping JDB for KSims, then I think it does open up a gap in their middle forwards, and would make someone tempting, Vaughan, or maybe even LAM again.

The problem at the Dragons is that they have plenty of middle forwards. Vaughan needs at least 55-60 minutes to be effective for fantasy. If you want to take a punt then maybe L. Leilua if JDB goes to the Knights which I think was a false rumour (but you never know). However if JDB does go to the Knights then Frizell might go to lock with Leilua to start on the edge.
Also someone on sc addicts posted that apparently Frizell has disc back problems so may not play big minutes in 2017. If anyone is considering him I'd reconsider.

I don't think Welshy will actually select Frizell in his side next year when he finds out about his potential injury concerns, after all he talked up Whitehead all pre season yet come round 1 lockout he never actually selected him in his squad scratch

    Not hating, just sayin...

I reckon Frizell would still be out wide, they have a few tacklers who can play Lock, not enough wider attacking players very much like the Tigers Crying or Very sad

Frizzell has played with the back problems all year last year as well. It's nothing new.

What is J Wallace priced at? Did he score well when playing bigger min over origin? I think he is underrated in real footy. Will have to have a close look at Titans with no Bird and Douglas while Shillo seems injured a lot

Wallace is 291k. With James playing big minutes & could even play close to 80 minutes I don't think Wallace will get enough minutes. I see a big year for James but at 573k he's over valued due to scoring so many tries in 2016. I think with Bird gone, James will start at prop & rotate to lock during the game.

I'm thinking Kev Proctor might get the 80 minute lock job at the Titans.

    I'm guessing
    James peats Wallace
    Procter McQueen
    Taia

    Pulu Paasi Shillington Roberts

The back line could be anything lost a heap of guys and have some avg players left plus hurrel injured

Year after year I get tricked into PPM kings stepping from bench into start role and not maintaining their output. David Fifita, David Klemmer, Kane Evans, Brenton Lawrence. The list goes on

I was considering Klemmer this year to be honest. Starting lock who loves to run a lot of metres and can tackle
