What are peoples key takeaways from the trials? Any players you weren't considering that you now are? Anyone stink it up so hard that you'll bin them based on a trial game?

For me.... Burton and Gilbert were underwhelming. Wilton looked good, might have to find room for Cam Murray somehow....

Probably gonna go a similar strategy. Each year I get sucked in by mid range plods that just score 30s and sit in value. Don't want to go down that road again to be honest.

Seems like Tapine's leaving my team now, especially since I can downgrade him to Turbo and upgrade Suaali'i to Val Holmes and have a lot more cover at CTR and WFB while just moving Hopgood into the 3rd MID spot.

Clark is out of my team now, though I'll have my eye on him in the first few rounds in case he actually does play middle only.

I hit delete though on TLT. And then add in must haves, and then build from the cheapies up. The cheapies are either there or they're not. Up to the individual to decide which cheapies are legit and which ones are traps (probably most of them). Spending an extra 80k doesn't always guarantee increased success though..

That's what I wasn't getting.. so are people trying to stay away from a certain amount of sub 250k guys and force buying another player in between 250k and say 400k ? Assuming we all have the same cap to play with of course. Whether it be 3 or 7, only a crystal ball will tell if they were the right pick anyway. A few off the radar players will probably prove to be correct picks by round 3 anyway haha...
