The turning point was the same as game 2 last year. Cordner being interchanged

Qld just too good and we still, as I said after game 1 and 2, need to make a few changes. Looked far more dangerous in attack when Maloney was off for 10 and when Cordner was off. If I see another Maloney to Cordner pass again any time in the next decade it will be too soon.

Two brain snaps for Sims and Klemmer ultimately cost us the game. Should have been penalty NSW for holding down Sims but you just don't let the ref a chance to blow a QLD penalty in QLD. Two penalties in possession, with one costing us a try and one gifting QLD won. The game was won and lost by those brain snaps.

Mitchell never touched it with Cordner there. Mitchell was very lazy at our own end also, really needed to get more involved. It meant we went away from Cordners side. Mate, he is a plodder in attack. Sure, I'm not convinced Peachey added much but I think if we had a Frizell instead out that side we absolutely go up a gear in attack.
