NAS starting off the bench isn't a good sign. Interested to see how Croft and Bromwich go this game. It will be the deciding factor if I run with them.

Smith has understudies getting game time in the preseason almost every year and the same panic about his minutes being cut arises. I mean, if he is playing 80 throughout the season then these trials are the perfect time to give Brandon Smith some experience, and also to give Cameron a rest for what will be a grueling 2018 playing big minutes. I would not take that as a certainty of him stealing any time in the least. Wait until round 1 TLT and then if Brandon is named there, you can panic at the appropriate time with the rest of the fantasy community

Where else would NAS start? He was never going to start over Glasby. The rumour is that he could spell Hoffman on the edge for parts of the game also, as well as play his prop role. Got a team with Smith, Fifita & Teddy - had to sacrifice a bit on the bench, but overall I don't mind it:

Pretty good effort I reckon. No Cook or Lichaa is certainly different.

Can easily swap Liu for Cook (via RFM) - 1k short of Lichaa with the same swap.

No real mention of Macca on here ?

The guy is a gun and coming back from injury shouldnt scare you off.

I can see Oates being our utility with McGuire/Glenn to spell Macca jf needed. He will play 70+ minutes per game.

Also has a few small scores from injury bringing down his average.

Also Glasby averaged 42 minutes off the bench last year. This year that job goes to NAS and given he's almost a point a minute there's value there. Extra minutes on an edge even better. Hard to see him getting less than 40 minutes.

Really! He started on big minutes last year when Scott has not injured. I can easily revert him back to Mannering
