With only 12 trades left after the above I'm just bringing in keepers. I'm keeping J. Graham but there is a silver lining if he's ruled out in that Tualau will come into the 17 even though the silver lining will be only 20-30 points.

Nice trades as two keepers come in....you say 12 trades left, if all the pieces of the puzzle fit from here on out Air Quote how many more trades are you look at doing? I want to trade out (cashout/upgrade)12 of my last 15 trade which should leave me 3 left???? is this to little? i think it maybe, but then i guess i could keep the likes of Tolman and RTS in my final squad and roll the dice towards the later end of the season if needed. how many more moves do you see yourself doing and what good to keep (tradewise) for the home stretch?

Going to be a lot more expensive to make that trade in Rd15 as opposed to now

I second this....seems like the perfect time to swap if thats what you want to do. Unless ET goes MIA and Merrin goes back to back to back 70+ (rd11,rd13,rd14) you should still be able to upgrade with using less than $50k. and then you effective also gain a possible rd 15 and 18 scores

Hopefully tonight signals what team change may need to be made for Origin 2 and therefore we can all speculate on who we think will make the game #2 teams Very Happy

I have these keepers atm = Smith, J. Graham, Vaughan, Wallace maybe, Taumalolo, JDB, Gallen, Surgess, Crichton, Elliot maybe, SJ, C. Walker maybe, Croker, L. Mitchell maybe, Slater, RTS maybe.

I'll need Fifita so I could use Wallace & Elliot to achieve this
I'll need Pearce so the excess cash from trading out Wallace & Elliot could be used for this plus another downgrade
Tedesco will be come in & I could cash out someone like Cotric plus another downgrade.

So that's 6 trades just there so maybe 6 trades left for the run home. I'm just going to run with my squad as is until the end of the bye period.

Is punting Cwalker this week a luxury trade? He looked rubbish.

    Option A:
    Cwalker to Tolo
    Cotric to DPP 138K

    Option B:

    Stone to Tolo/Merrin
    Cotric to 138k.

    Option C:

    Hampton to Nuff
    Stone to Merrin.

    Option D

Sit on current team. Run out with 16.

I find it hard to be completely objective on this one because I only brought him in last week.

At this stage I have to keep telling myself I did it for a reason. So I'd have to see at least 2 more rubbish games before I considered punting him, therefore I'd get to make use of his rnd 15 score at least.

Perhaps those who have held him for longer will have less tolerance...

The other thing is I brought him in for bye coverage. Granted if he is scoring 20s that value is minimised but its points none the less and to be honest I cant see him continuing to score that poorly.

So he's a hold for me.

None of those trades really need to happen IMO. Walker should come good and dunno why people rush to get rid of Cotric. Option C if I had to pick one though.

Ive had him for ages. Was initially tossing up between Walker, Nofo, Munster. went Walker. But now I have all of them anyway, With SJ.

Youre probably right, hold whilst still useful for byes then punt. Any thoughts on the other trade options?

I see your point. Probably leaning towards option D at this stage.

Maybe if you really wanted to punt Cotric, give Edwards a go?

No real rush to punt Cotric. He will probs drop cash this week, and it means getting a gun in elsewhere. However stones rise in cash is likely to be better than Cotrics drop so I guess they will equal each other out andi hope that my target (either Tolo or Merrin) don't go crazy.

ET plays one bye round and so does Merrin. They'll both play the same amount of games so it'll just come down to whether or not you want to fast-track the trade or wait until after 15.
For me I still think Merrin's a wait and see. Origin selection was coming up and he went all out, perhaps in hope of getting selected. Since he didn't, maybe he'll be back to the Krispy Kremes so I personally think it's worth waiting to see how he performs without Origin selection on the line.

Merrin was unfit start of season. I don't think origin selection has anything to do with how he will perform for the rest of the season

Edwards looks good if he holds his place. Lolohea is garbage imo. Not sorry he's left the Warriors

Looking at who I've got in my squad that are likely keepers, my plan was to bring in Fifita for Wallace next week, but that will mean I have 9 FRF/2RF keepers (so all 4 of my reserves) but still need to bring Cam Smith back in too. I was planning to bring him in for Hampton in Rd 20, but maybe just go Friend>Smith instead and run with 1 gun hooker?

Yeah I wouldn't get him either but we all know that most of the Warriors players have to move clubs to become better players & I believe this will happen to Lolohea.

I think Edwards is a gun and would go for him without hesitation if there was some sort of certainty that he will keep his spot. Lolohea for his price I think might go okay. It is the Tigers though, so opportunities might be an issue.
