Chris McQueen signed - 3 years at $400K a year

Not a bad signing IMO. It seems like $400K is the new $250K for regular first graders and he can certainly be a fringe rep player.

Also when one of their centres go down in the middle of the match you won't have to play Kyle Lovett there.

I wonder if the potential new coach had anything to say about it, or is this announcement post the 10 day no media release rule and was one parting gift from JT?

BULLSHIT !!! Can't play McQueen out of position he might get lost.

With the recent revelations, it makes you wonder. Was Lovett coked to the eyeballs and just went for a wander out to center and JT had nothing to do with it and the trainer couldn't get him to come back to the middle ??

Doesn't have the drive to be a great player anymore, expectations are low and can cruise through half assed and still look like a good player?

I was going to comment on their recent performances but will focus on the positives instead, Tigers onwards and upwards

Luke Brooks reportedly signed a 2 year $550,000/yr contract extension yesterday.

Funny how it came only hours after Cronk said he is coming to Sydney next year. He should have been the last of the "Big Little 4" to be signed but he's obviously a bit smarter then his footy brain shows because he's jumped the others and signed first. If we go after Cronk, has he effectively thrown his good mate and Playstation Pal under the bus by getting a contract first.

Personally I would chase Cronk hard and if not successful then ask Brooks if he was still interested. Mind you, a true professional like Cronk would have rocks for brains if he went to a basket case club like Wests Tigers.

$550K is less then his original asking price but still too much in my eyes and with every game he played his value was decreasing, so he got in early before his value plummeted more, smart boy, just hope his cleverness transfers onto the footy field.

Come on Teddy and Woods, time to follow suit

According to Fox Moses has signed with the Eels from next year and has is pushing for an immediate release. Maybe we're a real chance at Cronk

Going forward this is the best thing to happen. Didnt want Brooks like most of us but at least we didnt pay ridiculous overs. Looks like signing Ivan is causing the positive waves early to get this ongoing saga dealt with so we can move on. Glad we didnt keep Moses if we were offering 1mil a year. Overs IMO. If we just keep Teddy I will call it a win considering the money we are throwing at these guys.

Ive always found that Brooks plays better without moses and moses plays better without brooks.
Give brooks a chance to run the show with a non dominant half like littlejohn outside him, who can tackle, and see how it goes for a season.

I hope we don't release Moses early, we still need him because we have no one else.

I highly doubt Eels would let him go since he can pretty much play anywhere in the backline but I wonder if Gutherson wants to play 5/8th long term? I wonder if he would go to another club to secure that chance?
