Congrats. They put it all together this season - Melbournesque? I think the difference is, in those seasons where your tipping would automatically include Melbourne as your first pick each week, I didn't see Penrith coming this season.
They've always had the raw ingredients over the last couple of years, but had a NZ/Tiger-like ability to lose the plot. Waited for it to happen this year, but.... nope. Cleary is obviously the key. Calmest bloke on a football field since Lockyer, easily.
They reckon he's got a mind like a computer. Sees everything, works two moves ahead. Other theories include getting into his Dad's stash of botox and using the lot at once, or perhaps the PS4 froze whilst he was selecting his avatar for Rugby League Live 4.

Was an awesome season for Penny, very entertaining to watch them each week too. Cleary clearly the best halfback in the league, should be the 7 for the next Australian side too. Api has changed the side too, having an attacking running 9 is just perfect for them. Hoping they win the comp this year, would be well deserved.

Both Cleary's locked in long term, local juniors who have grown up playing together. This is the beginning of a dynasty. Titans can try and buy a premiership but $$$ doesn't = passion and mateship. It's the same model that Melbourne has used to win.

Gutted. Wont lie. Best side won, we didn't even deserve the first try to get us so close. These boys will be better for the loss and become the next Storm. Gus Gould's 5 year plan may have taken 10 and involved hiring Cleary twice, but we will be the benchmark.
