Re: Wests Tigers 2017 Premiers
There were rumblings about 2 months ago he was leaving because his pathway to NRL at the Tigers was blocked by Tedesco. If Storm has only just announced it then he had plenty of opportunity to backflip knowing Teddy was leaving.wizard333 wrote:Looks like you've lost Ryan Papenhuyzen
The Tigers are an excellent nursery for every other team it seems

Cant believe Tedeseco would complain about the deadline and say thats what forced him out. He has had a contract offer on the table for nearly 12 months, the Tigers had to move on. Let them all rot in ressies

Re: Wests Tigers 2017 Premiers
We've all heard Tigers are linked to Lolohea and Packer. Lolohea is wanted now, which will mean we release the sook Moses to Parra, fine with me, Moses pea heart doesn't look interested any more.
We are also linked to:
Corey Thompson (former Bulldog) and Maha Fonua (former Storm) from the ESL. Fonua, is a yes from me but there is a reason they aren't playing NRL right now, so I have my doubts. Corey was a speedy winger but was vertically challenged and may have problems with the high ball.
Greg Eastwood, I bloody hope not
Taane Milne, that will be a good move
Cleary is a smart guy so I'll put my faith in him but I hope we don't buy any mediocre type players, we have too many of these at the moment

Re: Wests Tigers 2017 Premiers
corey thompson does just about everything well, breaks more tackles then you realize but those games where teams destroy him in the air are hard to live with
blockers do get away with more now then they did a few years ago imo, so that helps

Yep. Apparently it's more than rumours and the whole extra year and more than the dragons deal is right and ink is on paper

Re: Wests Tigers 2017 Premiers
All things seem normal in Tigerland again. I thought this would be the case so I decided to watch Eurovision instead of the game last night. Looking at the stats and reading post game articles this morning I won't be watching any replays of that effort. It sounds like our traitors have clocked off for the year and are in self-protection mode. I think the whole team is in that mode with so many missed tackles.
