How long is Matt Parcell contracted for in the Super League? Would be a fantastic pick up for Wests.

Along with rankin, he looks like the kind of player who is too good for superleague/qld cup but not good enough for NRL.
Maybe Parcell has more upside, but he didnt look good last year.

I haven't seen any of his time in Superleague, but I thought he actually went alright for Manly, and the few games he played for Brisbane. While he's no Cameron Smith, I thought he was there or abouts with Korisau, and I would consider them both solid NRL players. Certainly better than what Liddle has shown so far. You'd think Ballin is never going to be the player he was. McIllwrick has probably played better this year than I thought he was capable of, but I'd think that McIllwrick and Parcell is better than McIllwrick/Liddle/Ballin.

Having said that, apparently he's signed for 2 seasons with Leeds, and Leeds played hard ball with a transfer fee for Segeyaro, so getting him early might not be an option for anyone. I don't think he's good enough to justify a significant transfer fee that is included in the cap.

they defs need another prop for sure

matulino has been ok lately but still doesn't look close to the player he was and packer is still hit and miss for me, has some big games but has games like monday where he gets smashed early and goes missing completely after that.

I do always like Sue tho, i think tigers miss him more then any other forward when he is off the field

aside from maybe suli and liddle, marsters is their most promising youngster isn't he ? if he is as good as advertised that should help the backrower stocks there

Parcell was fantastic for Manly, rarely missed a tackle and was lightning quick out of dummy half. I would have him at Newcastle in a heartbeat.

We still have Grant (although unsigned at this stage) but like all others who wear Black, Orange and White, they have 1 good game then 6 shit games.

Liddle is the one with promise and many league experts are predicting big things from him. Just like they thought with Cherrington, Moses, Brooks and Sironen.

Liddle's problem is he has been playing behind a shit pack.
No young or not many experienced hookers can play well behind a pack that is rubbish most weeks.
Same with Levi, he looks rubbish coz Newcastle's pack gets dominated most weeks.

Think Issac Luke 2014 to Issac Luke 2017.
He can still play, he plays well when the forwards get a roll on and plays like dogshit when they get monstered

i'm a bit of a bias liddle fan (having seen him play locally a fair bit, including a blinder off the bench in a first grade grand final as a 17 year old) but i think he has looked alright in his limited chances, has he even played a dozen games yet ? i don't think tigers need to be looking at 9.

i also think parcell looked pretty good last year, the dogs could do worse then have a guy like parcell in their #9 tbh but like DIP said, its hard to see a club paying the cap included transfer fee

Another disappointing loss for the lads last night, they tried hard but just not good enough against a depleted Sharks team. We are shite, but I like the looks of that new guy Eisenhuth, he worked hard in defense and run strong, reminds me of Corey Harawira-Naera. I know he played in the middle but I wouldn't mind seeing him on the edge instead of Lovett. I hope he doesn't turn out to be another Ray Cashmere, big buy, late bloomer, great debut with even better accolades, then downhill from there.

Also a big thumbs up to Kevvy, did well out the back and even made a fantastic tackle. Maybe fullback is his best position.

I take this bit back, good luck in the UK Kev, see ya!

I see why the Warriors coach opted not to play Lolohea, now we have him, shit. I hope we can sign Conner Watson for next year

Rest of the year is going to be tough.

Half the team won't be around next year, and the effort just not there at times.

At least next year we are already assembling a new look squad for next year and will be able to start with a clean slate

Had a fucking awesome career for a fairly limited player skills wise.
Tough tackling machine at the best of times who was good enough in attack to get by.

North of the border he'll always be remembered for being 1 from 1 in Origin.

Any chance of a 1-day Manly contract? Seems like the kind of player Manly would roll that honor out for. Excellent clubman. Well respected. Didnt really ever want to leave the club.

Tigers apparently have unofficially signed Conner Watson from the Rorters for next year.

God signing if true and from what I read he has been brought on the promise he will be starting fullback, which is weird because I read a few weeks back that Lolohea had been promised Fullback next year.

I'm wondering who is telling Porkies and who will be the left out pissed-off man next year
