A few questions for your next video:

Is Hess a keeper or a trade out?

What do we do with CHN?

    Thanks Chewieee!!

Hess hasn't peaked, a keeper for now!

CHN I'm holding mate, wouldn't be fun to see him make the side the next week with a huge upside available pending a single injury to Penny Panthers!

With Ponga's game time soon coming to an end, would Hayne be a good trade for him? Even Holmes is a tempting prospect.

I'm a Ponga owner and I am a little concerned that he was limping badly on his right ankle for most of that 2nd half last week.

Even if Ponga doesn't play again this year, he's done a great job for those who had faith in him

wrong thread for questions like this. There are threads for NRL FANTASY and Virtual Sports Dream Team and Supercoach !!
Which game are you playing ? Post your question in the appropriate thread and you will probably get an answer.

Unless your asking SpotTheOzzie to put it in his next video ?

    BTW; welcome to Fantasy Fanatics

So explain all that N.R.L. Fantasy Coach has to offer for bye planning. Does it have a simple function that shows how many players you have playing each round?
It may be worth investing the money for this simple feature.
(might sign up for the 14 day trial next week)
Any other reasons to invest in Fantasy Coach?
BE and advice is easy via fabulous Fantasy Fanatics I'd think?

From memory, I think STO did mention bye planning during his 18 minute discussion about NRL Fantasy Coach, but it is 6 weeks since I watched that video, so I could be wro . . . wro . . . wro . . . mistaken.

Post by Pacey's Best Thu May 18, 2017 5:27 pm

With the Tom Trbojevic injury, it was terrible what happened to him, but with the way the current referee's officiate, I don't think these things can be avoided.
    What I mean with the way referee's officiate is, NOTE that in this instance, there is nothing the referees could have done to avoid this and I think once the ball bounces, it's fair game BUT one of my pet peeves is;

The rule was brought in to penalise when an attacking player is tackled in mid air going up for a kick ( I don't remember how long ago, was it abt 4-5 years ago ) which at the time was a good idea because there were some dangerous examples when the defending player was flipped in the air.
So from that, players were penalised for those dangerous examples, but ALSO when both players jump up for the ball and the attacking player touches the defending player in the air WITH HIS PINKY, he is also penalised. Why do these referee's constantly FAIL to use common sense and also penalise the minor ones.
Is it the argument that say you cannot tackle a defending player in the air and the referee's apply this as simple black and white ruling BUT WHY!

A player throws an offload just as the referee calls held. go back and play it.
A player takes a 20m tap and a teammate is in front, go back and do it again.
In a scrum the ball has to be thrown in the middle. Not any more, it goes under the locks feet.

These are just some examples off the top of my head where common sense is used or the rule book is thrown out the window. So why in the tackle a player in mid air example, do the referees
    penalise the minor ones.

I know none of these arguments means much to the T.Turbo incident because all that could have been done would have been a penalty against David Mead, but Turbo would still have been injured but since you mentioned it in the video I wanted to get off my chest about these referee's and their continued lack of common sense
