What's it going to be this year?

Seems like every season there's an pre-season stuff-up by one or more twits who can't keep their mortal failings out of the newspapers.

With Greg Bird off to Catalans, that unfortunately rules out my top pick, but there's a whole raft of worthy contenders. Anyone got a gut feeling? Is Fifita due for another brain snap? Someone unable to keep it in their pants? Toilet stall antics? More RSPCA involvement? Another set of books prepared by Creative Accounting and Partners?

Also not someone in the NRL anymore, but I reckon something will come out about Bill Harragon, such as an illigitimate child or something like that. There will also be a current NRL player come out as being gay, not that that's a scandal.

I thought the thread said what, not who!?! Lol. But I like the 5 most likely fuckwits all the same. However, I'm gonna tip 5 "whats" instead.

1) The match-fixing bizzo at Manly is a lot worse than we expected, they get the book thrown at them and at least one NRL player is de-registered.

2) (Poor ol) Parramatta cannot reach an agreement that keeps Whatnow happy and he blabs to the press about a whole bunch more shit. I don't wanna see this happen but it's like watching a train wreck over there at the moment, I just can't look away.

3) James Roberts does NOT have any issues in 2017. New signing Tautau Moga and another rookie are stood down (for a minimum of three matches) for bringing the club into disrepute while out on the town.

4) Roosters don't make the finals again and Robertson gets the flick.

5) Dragons dump Mary mid-season and sign Ivan Cleary. His lad jumps ship from Penny to join him leaving them high and dry and having to play Carty alongside TMM in the halves. They struggle to make the 8 but just scrape in.

Not all scandals I know but just a few pre-emptive strikes to keep the convo rolling!

Most will always hate him whatever  unfolds, but i personally  love this. Straight after the negative events post premiership victory, he goes out and about in the face of the Nrl. A big WD from me.
