    I can reveal my trades this week now for this week's shitshow

    Moses ==> Cobbo Rolling Eyes
    Kini+ ==> Talagi Very Happy

    Obviously, the Cobbo move was not that flash this week but he did just miss out on two spectacular tries that would have changed things remarkably and he will be better in future weeks

    I am confident that Talagi will pay off before Moses is back - Talagi is the next Galvin Very Happy

    I won't have to burn a trade next week or the week after when Schuster is finally back - Siebold has confirmed that it is happening

    I am thinking of just making the one trade this week

    piakura to nikorima (dpp/hlf/wfb)

    Even though he has a be of 48 - he is priced at 32... and averages 38 with Katoa when playing 5/8 ... from week 7 he becomes a wfb who hopefully averages almost 40

    I need a HLF until galvin and cleary come back and don't really want to trade out cleary for anyone available this week... thinking cleary to hynes next week and gamble that hynes does not play origin - gives me 17 green dots this week

    Cleary to Hynes doesn't really solve the other issues. Russell, Fine, SHughes and maybe Sitili aren't looking too playable. Dunno wtf is wrong with Lussick. Seemed good for 40s.

    I'd probably go Cleary to DBrown and clear out some Eels before their bye, or pay a bit extra for Fogarty and have more time to punt a couple of Raiders.

    Then Schuster or Russell (since he's probably bleeding cash) to KPP. Some other targets next week could be JCampbell, Iro, JBrailey, Angus or Blore are some I have shortlisted.

    I think that Tupounia or Cotric are a trade out over Piakura. Only a couple of weeks after this and he will be back and I reckon you'll probably want him in again. Tups will really start losing money this round where he's mostly held his value so far.

    Still holding Schuster, fair play Laugh 3

    I think if you're willing to hold Cleary for 2 weeks, to then trade him the week before he's back is a bad play.

    Good call -

    Cleary is gone like a prawn - ripped the band-aid off, and it feels good

    Also brought KPP in as he looks like a star who still has a lot of cash to make, so Russell is gone as well - he is the one who is least likely to make his BE - There is always the chance that Cleary could be out for even longer

    Sounds good mate. Hopefully Sitili can hit a decent score still (more than Russell at least). I just honed in on Russell out with the highish BE and not overloading with too many Eels.

    Rapana to JCampbell is an idea I'm toying with after this week to pocket $100k, but see how they look this week.

    Sitili to Angus could almost be a straight swap if Angus looks good.

    Lussick and Fine capable of hitting 40s and we'll see if Shoes can do anything this week.

    Yeah - I just did the math…..

    Koro to J Brailey
    Taaffe to Iro
    Sitili to Angus

    I’ve already sold Koro last week though so I might be biased there.

    Doesn’t even need to be a hooker (Lussick and smith) but ideally it’d be a mid then (Jollife??)

    I like these moves with Jolliffe. I think Foran is going to end up disappointing a lot of people.

    Champion - no Brailey this week Foran instead...

    222k next week to upgrade Talagi prob to Brailey - has a BE of 40 so he will still be priced well and I can reassess options

    What is your concern with Foran @Ando

    Hmmm... he loves a missed tackle doesn't it

    @The Dolphin Conspiracies Breaking down his stats from the last game, on the face of it he scored 70 which has made him flavour of the week among the forum.

    He got 2 try assists which will rarely happen he plays for the worst team in the comp. -14 points

    He made 20 more tackles than he averages in his career which is 17 tackles a game. -20 points

    He kicked for 660 metres which I think will be an outlier (90 minute game), lets bring it down to say 500m. -6 points

    That's a total of 40 points he could very easily lose leaving 30 points a game... He is currently priced at 28.

    Des is going to have to change the team again in a few weeks when they lose more games, Weaver to come in who kicks?

    As others have mentioned he is held together with tape. But I suppose at least he will get more points than Schuster this week Wink

    Thanks @Ando

    I changed my strategy in any case. I could not really bear to lose Koroisau as I think he comes good and it is not out of the question that he might hit his high BE. Why trade out a potential keeper when there are other options. Brailey with a BE of 40 can wait for at least another week and is not urgent trade in.

    With all the turmoil at Souths, and the need to do something about the elephant in the room that is Latrell - I can easily see how his days at FB are done

    So it is

    Taaffe ==> Jye Gray - having 254k on the bench not making money is not a big loss

    Then

    Sitili has to go and Angus is irresistable

    Sitili  ==> Angus

    Finally, last trade is undecided

    Talagi ==> iro

    Iro seems like a no-brainer and I can't imagine they would have pulled the pin with starting him if they did not want to continue with it

    The easy thing to do would be to trade Russell to him - but Russell will not lose too much more money and is a handy emergency with his DPP that will score some tries at some stage of the season. Also, i am 1k of making this trade

    Talagi is an interesting one. I think he is a but suspect in defense for now, which is why he did not keep his role as starting CTR. However, he is a player who will be targetted by other clubs if he does not get a go in first grade, and he has some flair in attack. I expect him to get a early Carty role at the Eels for the foreseeable future - where he may fill in for a game or two at some stages - but for the most part he will get between 10 and 20 minutes of the bench late in the game to feck shit up for the opposition with his attacking game.

    So Talagi ==> Iro is the plan but I am holding back on a third trade. Maybe I will test this in the larger forum

    I’m not sure Shaq even if he’s the starter has a different “fantasy” role. Not sure there’s a heap of value there but could be wrong.

    Fainu is a good play. Hope for you and all the Bateman at lock adopters that this team list sticks. Every chance this is a great pick.

    Good luck this week!

    Final R8 trades

    Thinking of

    Koroisau ==> Fainu - BE high and past scoring suggests inconsistency - I cannot pass up Fainu - he is a priority trade in for mine
    Lussick ==> Brailey - This may appear to be a little sideways, but I think not as it enables
    Curran ==> Haas - Haas has good byes and will only miss three games over origin Curran has maxxed out and is only playing 60 minutes per week - not a keeper

    I will change Russell next week when I work out which base price option looks most likely

    Leaves me with 3k and
