Is there value in his price? Not likely but the way he was breaking tackles and defending with force and appetite gives me hope that I can keep him around all year.

Between RTS and Cobbo, all my CTR issues might be solved (except neither are currently eligible)

Hard to say, he’s never played centre before in rugby league. He’s an excellent defender though and will no doubt have the last hand on a lot of plays. He could very well be the best centre in the NRL this year and still average 40 though. Interestingly, he moved to the wing rather than centre once Walsh had established himself in 2021, which may validate these Leiataua rumours.

    Edit: Never mind.

Shame he's $3347k  (assume its $250k when added)

I guess that means the Blore injury suspicions are true.
Can't be too severe if he's named in the Reserves

Great summary, was writing my own takeaways but too slowly. Big 3 for me:

    1. Looks like Taaffe might be FB for Bulldogs, Hutch in the halves? The mids are pretty average. Max King plus two guys that struggled to play NRL last year starting.

    2. Raiders are taking the piss resting Fog and halves combo of Strange/Weekes, Stewart nowhere to be seen...

    3. Matterson #18 for Eels, maybe that's how they manage having all those big minute forwards, leave one out...

Notice you did not mention anything about HUGHES / MANN / CURRAN - are they not noteworthy now?

Thanks for clarifying. Just really inconsiderate to fantasy coaches

every other team is pretty settled. Doesn’t bode well for Raiders early on

Most good to great fullbacks also make excellent centres so I wouldn't be surprised at all if he is a top 5 centre

Manu, Holmes, Latrell, Turbo (origin) the best recent examples

Lots of full strength (or close to it) teams this week

I wouldn't read too much into extended benches, being in 14-17 not necessarily meaning higher up pecking order than 18+

    For Tigers
Kepoa will go as soon as Bateman comes back, but maybe Seyfarth actually is a chance to start at lock
I'd be surprised if Galvin was bench utility over Simpkin come round 2, don't know if I'd trust a round 1 team selection on it either way with no team list
