Warriors should improve next year as well with RTS back

Well here we are the NSW Cup GF day is upon us. What an effort by the boys to get this far. What a strong second half to the season they have had. We haven’t met the Bears in a GF for 97 years. We haven’t won this in 40 years. Lets make it title number 21 today for our reserve graders.

The Bears are such a quality team so they’ll really want it. Our boys will need to dig deep but hopefully having had last week off we have the fresher legs and hopefully will have the momentum to get over the line. Apparently they have sold 10,000 tickets for this arvo so it should be a cracking atmosphere. The Bears faithful will bring the noise but we can better them I have no doubt about it.

So come 2:59pm today Rabbitohs members and Rabbitohs supporters on ya feet let’s do this and get our boys home. LETS GO RABBITOHS GLORY GLORY TO SOUTH SYDNEY MY VOICE IS READY!!!

Agree, will be better for the run this year

Hoepfully SJ isn't injured as well, however Warriors also need better game plan rather than "Just bomb to the right hand side"

Scheduled an anniversary dinner about a month ago just to coincide with the game last night.

Still, amazingly, despite battling to get home from the Valley of Fortitude (packed with incredibly drunk football fans of all varieties as well as the usual human detritus) at around 11.00 managed to not find out the score and watched the game on delay.

More dominant than I was expecting but happy to get the win. The forward pass was comical but besides that not sure what the minor commotion about the refs was other than an attempt to drum up some alternative narrative (as AW pretty much said in his press conference).

Matt peaking way too early for a shot at the 2024 most biased poster (or is he just training the house down in a very early pre season?)

Enjoyed watching the Warriors this year they were definitely deserving of a top four finish and prelim spot....and lovely Shaun Johnson Beating Heart

I’m soaking it all in what a nice day what an atmosphere! What passion in the stands. Oh South Sydney you fucking beauty! 10k sounded like 20k my voice is cooked I was right into it. Had to beat the refs to a 9-4 count against us and we couldn’t buy a 50/50.

Glory Glory baby! It’s so sweet or 21st reserve grade title and first in 40 years.

I thanked Blake too for his service to our great club and he kindly signed my jersey too!

So our Cup side wins, Roosters lose Cup, Flegg and NRLW I’m doing the happy dance so happy I won’t lie.

Fenderbender is just a troll looking for a bite here every now and then.

Well done to the Warriors this year, they really did improve leaps and bounds. I remember earlier in the season I said they had a way to go and not to get carried away.. well they went on with it and a top 4 finish was valid.

Set up to be a ripper next week, feels like the flair against the machine.

Saw Jordan Riki at the coffee shop this morning. Big unit with a pretty quiet voice.

Wished him 'Good luck on Sunday' in a voice reminiscent of a 13 year old boy.

SJ pipped by 1 point by Ponga for the Dally M

Can look at it one of 2 ways, SJ robbed after 1 point for best on ground v Raiders in Croker’s 300th. Or Ponga would have blitzed it if he started the season at FB (missed 5-6 games also)

Knights FB dally M double with Ponga and Upton

Was hoping SJ would win but Ponga would’ve got so many points in that Knights run home

I'm gonna say it. I've always thought the Dally M is rigged. RTS was the first Kiwi / International to win it in 2018. It always goes to an Aussie. It's our competition and we have the best players. SJ was a snowballs chance in hell. Look back at all the stella years different Kiwis have had. Miss half a season or play dead and have a purple patch after origin and you're player of the year. Well done Jarrad.

I don't think its rigged, its just a by-product of how they do their voting. Better to have a few flashy performances rather than play consistently well week in/week-out.

Ponga isn't the first player to win on the back of 6 weeks of hot form, and won't be the last.

Tariq Sims has signed with Catalans. Their press release is gold. There's probably a shorter link but I don't know how to do that.
