I have the trades to deal with it right now but it’s a long time in between, who knows what could happen.

I did the same... too many Eels
and Cleary has a bigger chin than Moses

nope, it's better to pod with someone else
team's are still going to be very similar

Change of plan this week, I'm going Kris over Kiraz - don't really trust either of them and I think I'll need the extra cash.

Leaves the door open to go Robson and Manu to Cleary and C Graham next week, but waiting a week on that lets me hedge my bets somewhat, as if anything happens to one of my other guns (especially someone like Hopgood or Haas), then they go for Cleary instead.

Does mean I have to play Kris this week but I can't imagine Kiraz will do much against the Penrith wall, while I think the Raiders might do a bit better against NZ

I can't help but suspect that trading Harris to Murray is sideways... It does prevent the ol' two players on bye at the same time though.

    Clearly too many WFBs

    Boyd
    Harris, NAS, Horsburgh
    Preston, Fifita
    Johnson, Hynes
    Manu, Kris
    Ponga, Tedesco, Bula

    Reynolds, Hopgood, SSmith, Edwards

    Sami, Kiraz, Lemuelu, KHaas

    $742k in the bank.

Current plan is straight swap Sandon Smith to Cleary but I could probably make two trade to upgrade two players to out-and-out guns and keep SSmith in 20/21.

Give up, I've got autofill in the bag Cool

Is there any indication of how long NAS is playing edge? Katoa's injury is listed as indefinite on the casualty ward.

Nah, I reckon you make a difference by PODing at the middle or bottom of the squad, not the top.

He ended up having eye surgery. I don't have a source, but from memory I think it was around R19 with 3-4 weeks minimum recovery.

Yeah I'm pretty undecided on this.

Harris could easily match Murray this week. And then possibly another MID you own gets injured/suspended anyway and there's your alternative Murray trade.

But this is also a time to be aggressive rather than passive like that, get to the final 17/18/19 ASAP. And given Harris on a bye next week, if he's a sell then, he's a sell now I guess

Fucked around a bit and this is how the Aardvarks are lining up this week (I won't change it honest....)

    Grant
    Haas, AFB, Horse
    Fifi, Ipap
    Cleary, Hynes
    Manu, Garrick
    Ted, Ponga, Bula

    Hopgood, SJ, Murray, DCE

    Hands, Graham, Skelton, Nully

6 trades left and a bit of walking around money for injuries/sideways stuff

Don't see how you get him without sacrificing one of your current halves. Having all five of Cleary, Moses, Hynes, DCE, and SJ seems overkill.

Without doing that, maybe Preston + VTW to Cleary + Culquhoun? Lem back to centre next week and Kris covering the back 5.

Yeah you’ve hit the nail on the head there as I was thinking of Preston and VTW out for those 2. I suppose 5 halves is overkill though so I’ll think of other ideas

Moses and Matterson/NAS to Cleary and a cheapie? or just Moses straight swap, you've got the cash.

Yeah cheers mate,I guess I should take off my blue and gold hat and probably trade Moses out of those guys as we have a tough draw coming up

Well, the obvious way is one half to Cleary.

What options have you come up with so far?

Preston and VTW to Cleary and Colq probably the best idea if I wanted to keep all my halves but I guess if I think about it further it’s probably better to have a more well rounded squad with trades running out fast.

Could even throw in Matterson to Murray as well or is that sideways?

Playing around with getting Garrick in to provide stronger CTR/WFB start. Maybe waiting a week on Murray or Haas and using extra trade next week leaving me with 2 instead of 3 for the run in. Would mean selling Bula instead of VTW to provide the cash to get Haas/Murray next week.

Annoying that Bula plays first. I could of gotten a look at Kris score before going Bula - Garrick. I could pivot from Bula to Ming as the trade out if Kris shits the bed however

Making a YOLO move. Leaves me with 2 trades for the rest of the season for unexpected things. Thoughts?

I was committed to watching Matildas on TV with the family but now wife + older kids are going to the game

so I’ll probably torture myself by watching the Dragons wrap up the wooden spoon instead

Given team value is low due to starting to play so late looks pretty solid. Think you have to set early like you have and hope for a charmed run

Just check how many players on byes each week. Especially R27 with Eels plus potential Panthers rests
