Well SJ scores points/sets them up, I don't think SJ not being there will mean the opposition players will score more points, if that's what you mean?

Yeah, and Matto for Moses isn't exactly like-for-like.

Suspect this'll end up a low scoring, messy affair. Not tempted by Wah/Eels for this round.

They scored 6 tries with Matterson in Round 16. I’ll take that as the yardstick for the Eels output 😜

Was it a solid point last week that the Warriors at home in front of a sell-out crowd could defeat a depleted Souths team?

Some teams it is not worth trying to predict form, Warriors are possibly chief among them

You may do as pleases you!

Me, I'm hesitant to read much into an Eels-Manly game without DCE/TTurbo, and when the Eels had RCG/Guth/HopGoat.

Those were big losses for Manly, and RCG/Guth/Moses/HopGoat/Dylbags are big losses for the Eels.

    pass.

In all honesty I’ll probably go Munro because he’s dirt cheap and the Dogs appear to be quite bad at rugby league right now.

    Lol

I would add the Warriors forward pack has been laying a lot of the ground work.

It's not like SJ has carried the team on his Back. Players like AFB, Ford, Tohu have laid a fair bit of ground work.

Combined with CNK running like a 120kg forward out of their end, plus Montoya strangely having the strength of 3 adult men has made Sj's life a lot easier.

I think the Warriors have been a real team this year, and I'm not convinced they fall apart without SJ.

Having said that, the eels have shown they are greater then Brown. But greater then Brown, moses, and Gutho? May be a bridge too far.

I didn't really mean it like that, it was just a fleeting thought of maybe less opportunities down the other end of the park somewhat maybe helping the Eels. Wasn't really anything in it.

I didn't think on the other end of who the Eels were missing too, so fair play.

Long term I don't think so

Short term, if you have the trades you could probably grab Klemmer/Uto for a couple of weeks and swap them back to Haas/Horse/Murray afterwards

Think that's a luxury play if you have the trades for it though

edit: Toby Rudolf could also do the same thing, doesn't have to be a Tiger

I shouldn't think twice to do Sorenson to JDB? Have MID cover for his bye next week. Is there better MID target this week? Have Hopgood and Tatola

Definitely need several more FOGonites(??) to sign on the dotted line. I’m 48 in FOG and few more would help me greatly into not possibly becoming the number one seed of the qualifiers.

Even if I had to use a trade to get twelve playing, I think there’s just too much of a gap between 46 & 47 for me to reach the cut off point.

Those who haven’t, come join us! Those of us currently in 47-50 would greatly appreciate your attendance. cheer bounce

I'm not exactly sure what the eliminator is but I'll join to help with numbers, although I'm not in the FOG if that is an issue.

    I wouldn't be so sure.

Eels will be missing Moses, Gutho, DBrown, and RCG, that's some pretty crucial outs.

Edit: didn't read far enough, sorry this was already addressed.

I'm on the big lad too and need another shitto on the field.  Kris, Russell, Montoya, Avo all options.  Today, I'm liking Russell more and more.  I know you have a lot of trades but not sure where you are ranked but these two weeks are the last two to make a push.

We've done a flip. I'm now on team Avo in the hope Sexton makes the team click a bit better and he'll want to make a mark at FB to keep the spot

Seeded one off match ups each week. Winner progresses, loser is eliminated. So on until there are 2 left to fight it out for Eliminator Champion rights.

Hmmm.....I'm all over the place with this one. Even Montoya I'm still weighing up. Avos FB scores are putrid when he's not scoring doubles.
