Not sure on finances and Rd 20 targets, but I think in your spot I'd go Cook to Nikora, IPap or Preston and maybe Cogger/Koula to Ramien or Lomax. Feel like guys you could keep for the rest of the season.

Thanks, any word on Cleary? Kinda wanted to keep Cogger just in case.

I forgot Talakai too, cheaper than Lomax and byes done.

Ivan was a bit coy in the last presser I saw. Said Nath is progressing well, but won't rush him. Still saying Rd 21 in casualty ward. If you can afford Koula out then yeah I'd do that and probably avoid Lomax then with the Rd 20 bye and Lemu's future unclear.

Tohu, Tapine, Hopgood are probably the premium options

Next week I need to decide out of Hopgood, Tohu, Sorensen, Preston, Bateman who to trade out for Fifita. Id hate to sell Sorensen only for him to keep getting 80 mins and keep Hopgood and Hopgoods minutes to get managed when para are back at full strength

Tough call, but you've got a week to think about it, reasonable chance one of them gets injured or suspended and makes the decision easy.

Selling SJ would be a massive anti pod move, especially with all the home games Warriors have coming up and their run home.
Is anyone considering running Hynes, Cleary, SJ and DCE?

I have Hynes and SJ and will get Cleary. I haven't ruled out DCE but haven't done any sums yet. If SJ ruled out this week, it makes the case to sell more compelling. But no reason you couldn't carry that many halves like we have done hookers in the past. It's unnecessary though especially if you've also got Ponga as well.

Agree, that's my plan. I'd rather fill edge and half with my two trades rather than centre or wfb where there is no one I want who is playing this week. Boyd's dpp will be useful too, especially if I trade Cook, and Simpkin becomes a red dot, leaves only Grant.

Thanks, yeah I'm going to try and keep Cogger. He's a massive pod with good base and high ceiling in that Panthers team playing a tricky rd20. IF he plays. Low BE too. And people have setbacks all the time, especially with hammies. And I can use one of my 8 trades if he's not playing rd20.

That leaves two of Cook, Horse and Koula as trade out options. The only one of those I really want to keep is Horse. So I might see what I can do with Cook and Koula money first (only 42k itb), otherwise I'm not against selling Cook and Horse and getting Horse back in. They miss two games, if they get a concussion they miss rd21 as well.

Penis or Simonsson for the run in? Haven’t watched much of the eels but are Simonsson’s good scores all just off the back of his try’s?

I haven't done a lot of watching either, but looking at the raw numbers it feels like Simo is a bit more try dependent. I've got my mind firmly on grabbing penis for that reason.

Yeah was some talk of a Rd 20 return for Cleary, but Ivan's mass resting after Game II is some evidence that he'll take the cautious route, and can afford to.

Not seeing much in Koula's price range. Averillo, Kris, Munro.. can't bring myself to use a trade on them. Some prick will probably go large, but I'd land on the guy that scores 20. Cook to Ford could free up some fundage over the previously mentioned EDG guys. Warriors bye coming up soon, so would probably be a 3 week rental.

Cook and Horse out could work. I've seen you wrangle those gun out and back in trades to good success a few times over the years.

Just realised Cook and Horse are my only rd20 players. I could get JDB or Tapine in and fill edge via dpp. Should be able to manage rd 20 easily in that case. Sounds better actually.

Re: Cleary I do remember seeing some report that Cleary will return rd. 20 against Dolphins. Might trade Turpin instead of Cogger in case they err on the side of caution with bringing him back.

Didn’t realise VTW had a negative BE so will probably take him as my rental CTR/WFB. At the very least he will make some money with his efforts so that’s always helpful.

Now to decide on a possible keeper that plays this week and Penisini looks to be the only one
