Pretty sure it's just the concussion, but I suppose we'll know by R13 when he'd be due back.

I would think he'll be ready to go by then, and if not I'll trade him then

Haas is a topic I haven't seen brought up much. Is consensus just to hold him throughout Origin? Have seen a few teams already punt him when he had his suspension, which looking at it now doesn't seem like a terrible idea

Surely Broncos manage his minutes if they're serious about a finals charge, meaning his scoring to price value would plummet

Could take his value now and flip to a bye friendly, non-Origin option and not deal with the Origin resting headache

Flipside is he's obviously the best MID in the game, but looking ahead Broncos also have a R25 bye so that's just another headache down the track. Thoughts?

    Definitely something to consider.

Do we think Dilbags tonnes up this weekend with no Moses?
Averages about 64 points when Moses has been out over the past 3.5 seasons.
Surely worth a shout and could be the justification I need to flick Ford on.

Tonnes up hahahah calm the farm.

But yeah he should do well without Moses, but then again it's not like his role changes much anyways. Jake Arthur will be the main kicker in the team but you'd expect Brown to take a few aswell, with that being said idk about the stats but to the eye it seems like Brown has been taking a few kicks anyways particularly like the 40m bombs into the corner.

Brown and Gutho both average 63 when Moses is away.

The vagueness of the Ford injury report ("something to do with his head" according to Webster, delayed concussion according to others) plus the fact he was knocked out earlier in the season is probably the deciding factor in trading a guy I'd otherwise want to hold. Don't want to keep him these next two weeks only for him to be out in R13 as well.

I'm leaning towards sell, and ideally buying back with one of the 8 trades that get added in R20.

As you've said, his minutes will most likely be managed, and I can pocket probably 200k trading him to someone like Tohu in R13, which I will need to use on upgrading others in R13-14 like Ford and Walsh

    NSW cup news:

Sam Walker still named at halfback.

Metcalf straight into the starting halfback spot.
Taine Tuaupiki back in at fullback.

    Xavier Savage named fullback.
    HSS on the wing.
    CHN named at lock.

Zac Lomax at centre and Liddle at hooker (wtf Griffin dropping two of his best)
    Toby Couchman not named.

Hook knows he doesn’t get a higher draft pick if the saints are at the bottom right? Does someone need to tell him?

Metcalf potentially walking into a Round 13 role in my team. Wonder if Webster will bring him straight into the side in place of Volkman, after one week of NSW Cup.

Had a spare hour so just had a bit of an assistant coach blitz

Tried to get to most people but ran out of stamina as i worked my way down the list, apologies if I didn't say anything or get to yours
Anyways it's all fun and I'm not the one pushing the trade button so ultimately it's on you
Roll the dice, what have you got to lose and if you do there is always the meetup to cheer you up

But the most important thing to remember is:

I think most teams have too many round 13 halves already, some combination of Katoa, SJ, Nikorima, Crossland, Moses, Brown etc. Another half is pretty useless in round 13 for me, would rather he gets a start off the bench and bring him in at round 14.

    Crossland (Mann out injured)
Bula (if you haven't already got him)
Tupouniua (not right now but if he gets his edge spot back)
Billy Smith (if you think he'll hold the spot)

It's a very good point and I think it does.

I think you could even extend that point around rd 13/14. You might not want to carry 4 Eels/Knights because of rd 14 origin restings/injuries etc. But you've got trades, and if you end up playing one short in rd 14, doesn't that just counteract having an extra in rd13? To some extent anyway. There's probably a few ways to skin this cat.

    some left field shouts,

seb kris, dual position, rd 13
crossland, should have locked up big minutes now mann isnt there to spell him for hooker
Davey, named to start, parra have good vbye schedule
L croker, hooker cover, good bye, and cheap as chips, scoring way worse than last year, is he due an uptick

i am aware all of these are cluching, but maybe you need some of these positional ones for the bye
