Was just reading Manly are planning to get Talau under contract for next year, and are trying to secure an early release to join them this year by the transfer deadline. Naden is out a few weeks, so less likely to get him immediately, but hoping they can get the transfer completed ahead of round 13. Tigers season is pretty much over anyway.

Matt mentioned it last night, but no TS's awarded to any Dolphins player last night is a bit of joke. There were a couple maybe even 3 or 4 in the first half that were clear TS's over the line.

It added to your post yesterday, which didn't include any details on Naden's injury and that he was unlikely to be released because of it.

Sounds quite peculiar given their stocks, either they mustn’t rate Harper and Parker or Koula may be out for longer than expected?"

Yep, a number of fantasy relevant players impacted, Hamiso had 2, Katoa and Lemuelu 1 each.

Milne maybe wasn't super injured, but that was reckless and unnecessary force. Should be at least 3 weeks imo

    On the Tigers... They have a stack of players (that get usual gametime) off contract at the end of the year;

    Seyfarth
    Wakeham (usual?)
    Staines
    Laurie
    Brooks
    Talau

On Manly those players mentioned (Parker and Harper) are also off contract at the end of the year, so more likely they probably not going to re-sign them

Was initially planning to do Hopgood to Cheese because I was worried abou my 17th man, but now that I can bank for 40 from Katoa, is it worth getting Couchman over Cheese and banking the cash?

Yes that's right. I obviously knew about Katoa but I do remember Hammer having 2 in there also. They were definition TS's too according to rule as far as I'm aware.

I see Cody Walker got one but can't remember it so can't compare. Would be interesting though to compare his to the ones from the Dolphins.

Surely its time for the 10 year Brooks experiment to end. If they re-sign him, heads need to roll.

Walker’s one would have been the tackle where Hammer was just short and if he reached out it would have been double movement

Not a fan of fitzys 4 forward benches, maybe he views Graham as a utility as well as a middle.

Actually a crime Graham is still being selected. Maybe this week it makes sense but moving forward he should drop out imo (he won't though).

Thanks for the info mate, I hadn't seen it. I thought with Naden out and To'a pretty average, Talau would be straight in next week and hopefully hold a spot. Not sure if Manly would be good from a fantasy perspective, but I think they chucked Suli and Aloiai straight in after poaching them from us, so maybe does get a regular start if they can get him.
