    I do have Meaney and I am selling. Can't hold with the bye upcoming as well, missing two games in next three. Papy is also back in training (probably still awhile away but at some point Meaney has to go anyway.

    That's true. He's been great in the FB for my team. I feel dirty letting him go.

    Are you bringing in another FB? Assuming Walsh if you are?

    Same advice but with the more bye-friendly and cheaper Moses.

    Moses isn't even that much more bye friendly, from now until the end of Origin they both have 2 byes each (Moses 14 and 18, SJ 12 and 16)

    I would be slightly worried about whether Mann takes a hooking role and robs minutes, but he could be worth a punt, but it will be a punt.

    Maybe wait and see 1 week to check role/minutes...it's what I am doing.

    Yep exactly. We haven't seen the Crossland/Mann combo yet so dont know the minutes split

    Been a pleasure watching the Storm turn Meaney into such a high class operator! Kid is a quality NRL back 3 player

    Yeah Walsh most likely but considering CNK too (who I never should have traded out round 3 Bang ). To be honest I don't particularly love any of the WFB options except Teddy, who is already coming in for Hopgood.

    I'm a bit uncertain too though, I have other positional needs so could just play Sloan in WFB for now. Was great having Meaney locking down one spot until the Storm bye, pretty annoying timing this concussion.

    Similar thoughts, but I would be playing Warbrick or AKP if I don't bring in CNK or Walsh...

    Perham and Alamoti do scare me this week. Hoping for a bounce back game from the Doggies.

    Yeah they aren't ideal to be in the 17. If you can get Robson and CNK for Brailey and Meaney I think thats pretty nice.

    I think JMK is a nice alternative option to Robson too if the cash saved helps you at all (say if it gave you enough for Walsh if you wanted him instead of CNK)

    Not a bad shout actually, cheers for the advice fellow Meaney mourner.

    Ok think I’ve decided on trades

    Kenny -> Cheese (need HOK and MID cover, sorted)
    Hopgood -> Bird
    Perham -> Teddy*

    *could do Warbrick -> Teddy but think Warbrick more likely to hit a BE, plus can loop with Alamoti.

    199k ITB so can hopefully make a few more upgrades in coming weeks. Although cash gen is definitely below average.

    Tmm to Soni
    Hopgood to Robson
    Thompson to Couchman

    Thoughts?

    I think Preston is good for Alamoti, assuming he retains that side. Burns or Kiraz are going to be decent next to him.

    Did EButcher spend some time in the middle last week?
    49 tackles plus 5 misses is a very healthy workrate.

    He makes those 5 tackles he scores 68 instead of 53.

    I expect them to line up with Waddell EDG, RFM lock.
