Brandan Smith is an IN for me this weekend. I would be happy with 40's from him with the odd 50 here and there.

Hopgood out and downgrade to Smith.

PS all the people generating cash for Hynes this weekend. No easy feat against the Roosters.

EDIT. Munster just tonned up against them so, what the f*&^ am I going on about. Disregard whole comment.

He's been cleared by experts, I don't think we can assume anything about risks going forward.

Notably Keary and Matterson have had bad concussion history, yet they've fortunately managed to avoid frequent knocks lately, or at least serious effects from them, and... it's fine. Roosters aren't carrying a bench half because Keary could get knocked out.

Thanks now I have to trade Ponga back in

Prob Sele or Couchman. Tatola out another month helps Sele, but Arrow is back too who would get more minutes

Not sure why the Couch got more minutes last week but could be a sign of things to come

He is my first trade in. The Neame news only confirmed it further. Shouldn't be picked for Origin, good byes, 80 give or take...

He looks pretty safe regardless and I think BMM and his current role changes soon, so could maintain

Agree except for the 80min bit. He's one of the few exceptions to the "2rfs play 80" rule

But the draw and Cowboys injuries make a pretty compelling case for him.

I know cows had injuries but he would have played 80 last week without the bin. Bench suggests its on the cards again.

Feels like a firesale, but I can go:

Carrigan, Hopgood, Warbrick > Hynes, Hess, Couchman.

The most balanced setup I've been able to come up with to get Hynes in. Playing Hess as a starter, I'm left with a bench of SJ, Preston, Boyd + Couchman and iKatoa in a loop.

My team name is literally "HessHassHissHoss" so I reckon I've got to have both Hess and Haas at some point.

    I'm currently thinking:

    Hopgood/Brailey/Warbrick > Couchman/Lemuelu/Cleary

    Couchman: cash cow
Lemuelu: fixes my CTR and he's still cheap for 35-45 scores. I could get Bird, but that would mean no Cleary this week. Bird can be a trade in closer to R13
    Cleary: safety with the crowd

Next week plan is at least 2 trades. 1 as cash out, and 1 to bring in Robson. Probably goes out the window though lol

    Boyd
    Haas Murray Ford
    EKatoa Loiero
    (C)leary SJ
    Lemuelu Alamoti
    Teddy Miller CNK

    Moses Hosking Preston Carty
    Couchman IKatoa Nikorima ITT

Just checking if everyone remembers that if you trade to the maximum amount each and every week you will run out before you want to (i.e. Round 14)

Avg of 1.9 trades per round until 19 means you don't run out and then you get the extra 8 post R19

The 8 extra trades won't last long with bumped up weekly allowances

    Just checking Very Happy

Any reason I shouldn't use the war chest and go Hopgood + Uto > Matto and Tohu?

I presume if they rested Tohu last week and playing him this week he should be good to go? Wouldn't mind the lad back in the squad.
