Wether that’s just podcast filler or some insight I don’t know. Probably not worth the risk

Not that im trying to push u one way or another, but if there was any semblance of truth to that news I would have thought it sways it in favour of bringing in the Hand

Mate, if Hosking is a bust, there's gonna be a lot of manure flying around.

After the rib injury info about Garner, I raced to get Hosking in. Rib injuries for forwards are a real concern, just ask BSmith and Friz...

If after two weeks Hosking gets demoted, there will be the Teddys/Braileys et al to jump on in the 650k region.

Do you want to be trading Teddy in at round 7, with him not playing Origin byes from round 13?

You pick up Ted as cheap as you can get him regardless of the time of year IMO.

It was just an example player, players in that price range.

What I am saying is, given the rib injury scenario, Hosking has become less of a risky option for me.

I think he will now get R6 as well, therefore bringing his cash out up to the 650-700k range, meaning he can still be swapped out for a fallen gun, or in my case, to get Hynes R7, if he gets dropped.

I have no idea about captains. I have played the roulette wheel with Cleary, Grant and Hopgood and have lost out ea h and every week so far.

My strategy is I have one in mind and I will go against it if I get some feed back from others for an alternative.

    G'day fellas,

I don't know about youse lot, but I reckon the mods on this NRL forum are as useless as tits on a bull! They don't seem to have a clue what's going on half the time. Thinking it's 2022 and not 2023? I'm pretty sure some of them still think it's 1999!

So, I'm puttin' me hand up to become a mod meself. I reckon I could do a fair dinkum job of keepin' this forum runnin' smooth as silk. Plus, I promise not to be a drongo like the current mods.

Anyway, let me know what ya reckon. If you think I'm the right bloke for the job, give us a holler and I'll make sure this forum is ridgy-didge once and for all!

Well, B Smith and Friz missed 0 games and 1 game respectively.

Friz missed a bunch of games last season with his rib. BSmith is really playing optimally too...

Ivan has a bunch of good options he can play...

Pretty sure he will come on for Sorensen.

You obviously are in the no Hosking camp. I can respect that. I was just expressing my view that he is now slightly less risky and I can use him to straddle to Hynes in R7.

Im not really in either camp, already said Hosking is a good buy but im getting Ford this week. Hoskings job security *this week* is obviously not a concern.

Would you get Hosking next week assuming low 600k and still starting with no Garner/Martin study

Alternatively, Hosking this week, and Ford next week for 420-430k assuming 40-50 score

His byes fall on the majors and he's a WFB so I wouldn't be toooo worried.

I'm aiming at Ford next week too.
Week 8 will be Hynes > Trindall is gone, Carty-Party getting stale soon, and Loiero may be on the chopping block too.
With Hosking, I'm running 6 Edges and will need another Middle.
